A top 10 super cougar
Last July, we had our first Glamour Girl Eye Candy Month which featured 4 of our Glamour Girl Contest finalists/winners. We are keeping up with this summer tradition as we get to know more about this year’s finalists and winners.
Lori Luvz has been a contestant in our contests for years. We always love seeing our contest regulars each year and Lori was definitely one of our favorites every year. This year Lori made it into our Top 10 and we were so excited our judges voted her there. We thought now would be the perfect time to talk to Lori about her entries and excitement to be in our Top 10. Let’s meet Ms. Lori Luvz.
Congratulations on being in the Top 10 in this year’s Super Cougar Glamour Girl category. How does it feel?
I have entered the Glamour Boutique contests for quite a few years now, but this 2021 contest surprised me with a notification that I made the top 20 in the Super Cougar category.. to say I was thrilled is an understatement. A few weeks later, GB announced the top 10 ladies in the category and again I was totally surprised to see my name listed.. I can honestly say that there are so many beautiful ladies that entered and so many were also deserving of being named as potential winners.
Although I didn’t win, I am so very grateful , honored, and flattered to have been considered to be both a top 20 and a top 10 contestant.. Congrats to all the winners.. Such beauty was displayed by this mature group of gorgeous ladies.
Tell us how you go about choosing your outfits and how you choose what photos to submit.
Choosing what outfits to wear is really an individual girl’s preference. We all have an idea what we like and what fashions look best on us. I love looking at the thousands of posts on web pages and seeing what gorgeous outfits other girls wear. Guess we all became very good shoppers and look for certain things that looked good on others and try to duplicate the look. We also know that being a woman isn’t cheap… [smiles].
Once we get these fashions home in our closet, the fun begins… We can’t wait to find the time to get dressed and the mirror becomes our best friend.
Of course our phone camera then starts clicking, different poses, and different changes in outfits, lots of deleting photos til we keep the ones we like best…bingo..those are the ones we are proud to post or submit.
What advice would you give girls entering the contest next year?
My advice to other gals who love to enter the GB glamour contests in future years, is to be yourself. Look at what you yourself feel is your best features, hairstyles, type of fashion you feel good in, perhaps you get great comments on a particular pose, smile, fashion ensemble and take all of that into consideration when submitting your photos. I look at past years top contenders and see what they did. Just little things can apparently make a difference. Remember, just have fun and feel beautiful..
Any final words for your fellow girls? Our readers and judges?
I really have no idea how many girls enter the GB contests every year, especially with all the many different categories. But I for one want to thank everyone at GB, designers, products, marketing, media, and yes all of the judges who spend so many hours putting these contests together for us girls. The challenges they face trying to pick winners has to be mind boggling…And WHY..?
To help all of us girls become the beautiful feminine beings we love to express the best we can…. Thank you Glamour Boutique.
Let’s start our main interview by letting our readers know where you are from?
LORI has lived in the Milwaukee, WI area for many years, actually a smaller community where everyone knows just about everyone.
Kinda like a Mayberry….lol. Always been a cheesehead but no, love the Pack but never wore the yellow crown…
When did you first start dressing and how did it come about?
My story of getting into crossdressing is probably the same as almost all other girls.
Something deep inside me as a young boy made me very curious about seeing my mother getting ready to walk out the door on her way to work dressed so pretty.
One day the urge to rifle through her dresser drawers led me to trying on a girdle and stockings. Of course rows of heels in her closet were yelling, “try me on…” Well, you all know what happens after that….hooked.
Soon I graduated to my sister’s closet and vanity drawers. I really can’t say with certainty how old I was back then but for sure a pre-teen era. I was able to slow down some through high school but dabbled in dressing when I could. I had my little stash of clothes hidden in the basement and even purged several times, but we all know that was a costly attempt to rid ourselves of the feminine girl who lived deep inside.
How did you come up with your Femme name?
Over the many years of crossdressing, I really didn’t think of connecting a feminine name until much later. Getting an instamatic Polaroid camera and looking at my first photos really changed things. Looking at the girl in the photo, I now needed a name. The first being Gloria, because I knew a Gloria that I thought was a real hottie once. Later, when computers and social media got popular, we all got into home pages and let’s not forget Facebook. I think I had 3 name changes on FB. The biggest reason was that I was afraid someone was trying to connect dots in figuring out who I really was. A total scare for us girls, right? Anyways, Lori Luvz became me maybe 10 years ago. Guess She just luvz being Lori.
How often do you dress?
Like so many crossdressers, finding the safe time and the safe place to dress is the number 1 issue. Especially if married or in a relationship. I was married with kids so dressing was a challenge, but I found the time every once in a while.
As life went on, kids grew up and the marriage blew up. Not because of my secretive dressing. No one ever knew. A divorce was bittersweet. She was having an affair so it was my idea to end the marriage of many years. As you can probably guess, living alone for the past 15 years did provide Lori with much more time to dress, and that being said, the wardrobe increased big time. So did the makeup, wigs, shoes, boots, photo albums, makeovers. The biggest issue is living in that small Mayberry environment, which will probably take us to another question about where do I like to go as Lori?
Are you married/in a relationship? If yes, are you able to share your female self with your partner?
LORI IS single. I’ve been in a few relationships with ladies that know nothing about Lori. I had decided years ago never to tell family or friends about my other side. Again, I think most of us don’t want our secret life to unexpectedly escape from the closet. Mostly fear and embarrassment to both me and my family members. Sure I have thought about becoming a transgender and doing the surgeries etc., but I can still be Lori and I am ok with it not hurting anyone else this way. If I am ok with it, it’s gotta be ok. Who knows? Maybe my ideas will change but Lori is no longer in her 60s. Yes it’s true.
What are some of your favorite outfits/fashions?
Favorite outfits I love to wear… hmmm
Let me start by telling you that I am a leg watcher. I just love ladies who dress like ladies. The first thing I look at is legs. Always been that way. In fact, I just remembered a name I had years ago was Lori Leggs. Go figure. Anyways, I suppose I have been blessed and my legs have been my better asset of feminine traits. Therefore, my favorite outfits usually are short dresses, skirts, and even long gowns that have a slit up the side.
I just dress the way to duplicate looks I admire on beautiful women. No doubt I can not look that good but I have fun trying. Especially for a Super Cougar with limited years left….smiles
Stockings or pantyhose?
Again, after reading above, I must say I love the look of stockings, both nude and black. Showing a little of the stocking tops and the garter tabs always gets my attention.
Call it sexy, ladylike, very feminine, I just love the look…well ok..the feel is very nice also. Pantyhose are also a must in many dress up occasions. I wear them a lot and multi layers work for me better. The dresser drawer is always stocked up with both.
Heels or flats?
No doubt, my closet has its share of shoes. I love to see women wearing high heels. It finishes off a great feminine look, whether with classy or sexy dresses. I love heels.
I don’t think I own any flats. Ok, does a pair of tennis shoes count?
I love dress slacks and jeans with heels just as much. Going through my photos, I guess I better mention that I really love boots too. Anything from knee high casuals to stiletto heels. If in the mood, wearing sexy thigh high boots are fun for photos..smiles
Favorite places to go when dressed?
Did I mention Mayberry? By now you know getting all dolled up to go out in small towns ain’t gonna happen. Many times I depend on driving over to Milwaukee for outings with other girlfriends. Going to clubs where drag shows are popular are always fun. Been to Chicago, Mpls, Green Bay and several other larger cities. Been to photo shoots in Milwaukee and Madison.
However, being old and retired, I do sneak away out west to escape some winter months. My most favorite time out as Lori is Las Vegas. Over the years I have met some wonderful, beautiful ladies that have taken me to house parties and many clubs, both straight and gay. Casinos, dinners, and being to many makeup artists who make you feel and look beautiful. And I can’t forget my bestie Sasha who does my makeup, photoshoots and takes me out clubbing. Yes girls. VEGAS is awesome..works for me for sure..
Go to accessories for a night out
As far as accessories, I don’t think I have any real secrets or special items that are any different than what I see being worn by other girls. Obviously trying to match colors with outfits is a must. I myself would love to have pierced ears just because they open up doors to so many more fun sets of earrings but I manage to find nice things online. I guess I do like dangling styles much more than simple small stud types. Rings are fun too especially after having the nails done.
Who is/are your female role model(s) and why?
Female Role Models…. That’s a tough one. I can’t say that anyone in particular comes to mind but looking through FB pages, so many posts of beautiful, sexy genetic girls flood the internet everyday. It is amazing to see just how beautiful women can be, and not only genetic women but beautiful, sexy trans ladies and CDs can also inspire me. I totally love feminine beauty.
Tell us some fun facts about yourself. What are your hobbies (either when dressed or not), likes, things you do in your spare time, or anything else you would like to share?
Lori luvz friends and wants to be friends with everyone…
Any stories you would like to share about yourself and your journey?
Let me think… Seems like I have been on this journey for so long now. My best answer is that the story is still being written. At my age the journey has been a long one but not ready for the final chapter yet. I love beautiful women and every day I see or meet one, it’s like adding another page to this wonderful story and another mile to the journey…
If you have social media, what is the best way for others to follow you?
You can usually find me on Facebook at Lori Luvz
Before we go, would you like to send a message to your fellow girls out there or a closing statement.
