Spring is here and that means summer is right behind. As the weather gets warmer, we want to break out of our winter funk and what better way than getting dressed and having a night out with the girls. This Spring, keep up with some of the latest cross-dressing fashion trends and have the other girls envy the great new looks you’ll be flaunting.

Clothing
This Spring, three of the most popular looks revolve around patterns – Polka Dots, Checked/Plaid and Daisy Flower Prints. Now while Flower prints have always been a spring staple, this year’s fashions are taking the patterns to a whole other level as you can see here:
For those of us girls who like a little less loudness in our clothing, checked plaid may be the right choice for you. But for a nice in-between look, our last choice – polka dots may be the way to go.
Polka Dots
Polka dots can give a little bit of personality to your outfit without being super flashy like those huge floral patterns. Plus, polka dots say “This girl likes to have fun,” which what going out is all about after all, isn’t it?
Spring Colors
Some popular color choices this spring revolve around the usual pastels. One great suggestion, is Glamour Boutiques own Fuchsia Peplum Dress, which combines an “in” color scheme as well as an “in” style of dress. Sometimes two colors combined are better than one. This Spring is all about a killer color combo – Pink & Red. In fact, it is gaining so much popularity that Italian Vogue called this combo the new Black and White.
Shoes
White Shoes are a trend that has carried over from Fall and Winter as nothing says warm weather like white everything. Even in the picture above, Sarah Jessica Parker added the white shoes to her pink and red outfit showing us why she is a true fashion icon. But with warm weather, why hide your feet. Since Strappy Heels are the other big shoe trend this spring you don’t have to keep them hidden. Why not get a nice pedicure and show off our feet in a cute pair of Strappy Heels while wearing a nice mini skirt and a bell sleeve blouse giving you a great look for an afternoon out on a sunny day.
Spring Makeup Trends
Glitter, glitter, glitter. Did I mention glitter is in? Glam is back in a big way with shiny, glittery clothing becoming very popular recently. To complement this trend glittery makeup has followed suit. But, let’s step away from the shiny outfit and picture this – a sexy looking black dress or some super sexy lingerie complemented by some glitter makeup on your eyes. Now that’s sexy!
Glitter Tip
To keep your glitter from going all over the place and not all over your face, put some loose powder all around the area to create a film of powder on your skin. Then use a little cream based moisturizer, leaving the glitter to stick to you better.
The Cat Eye
This look is very popular right now as well. This is complemented by the smokey eye look that is also popular at the moment. Here is an example of the two combined:

You can’t go wrong with any of these choices and it will give you a nice fresh and modern look around your eyes the next time you dress.
If you want to go in another direction, try to go with the light eye look that is trending right now. Blues are popular this spring. Try different light colors and see what shade matches you the best. It will keep you looking fresh and youthful with the lighter colors, especially when you add a cute springtime styled dress to it.
Lastly, a look on the rise to combat all of the light colors in makeup and clothing is to use a dark red lipstick. Usually, spring gives us the sense that we need some light colored lips to match our outfits and eyes. Well, not this year. Go with the dark and heavy reds to offset your light colored eyes and blush as seen above. One way to achieve this look is to use a lighter shade of makeup around your eyes and then go super red on the lips. This contrast will draw attention to those sexy lips and make them the star of the show.
Spring Accessories
With our clothes, makeup and shoes ready, we need to accessorize a bit to finish off our new look.
For a purse, graphic bags are in. What is great about that, is if you went the polka dot route or the plaid route with your outfit, you can grab a polka dot or plaid graphic bag to match it all together.
