Glamour Boutique have been selling their own gaff panties since the late 1990s and we have evolved our design over the years to make sure we craft a garment that is an effective and comfortable tucking garment whilst dressing en femme. Essentially all crossdresser gaffs should hold the masc genitals in place when tucked back to give a nice flat front when wearing form fitting skirts, dresses and pants.
The practice of placing one’s genitals back behind the legs to have a more feminine appearance evolved from the art of drag/female impersonation. As with drag queens, many transgender women and crossdressers have to use certain techniques and specialist garments to help mask obvious masculine characteristics of the body. The gaff, if strong enough can be used on its own but for a more ‘extreme tuck’ drag queen performers will often use in conjunction with medical tape.
