Tucking can seem a little scary the first time you try it, but with practice, it becomes another step in your routine. When done correctly, you get a smooth, feminine shape that makes such a difference in how you look and feel. This guide walks you through the whole process and shares all of the little tips and tricks we’ve gathered along the way!
In this article, we’ll cover:
- Understanding the anatomy involved in tucking
- A clear step by step guide to tucking with a gaff
- How to make the process easier

Understanding the Anatomy
Before getting hands on, it helps to know what’s actually going on down there! Use the diagram above as a guide to the anatomy and the terms we mention. The twins naturally move between the sac and the inguinal canals. During early development, the twins descend from these canals. For many, they can be gently guided back up into these canals during tucking.
How to Tuck Using a Gaff
Take your time in the beginning. Rushing is where discomfort tends to creep in.
Step 1: Put the gaff on
Start by stepping into your tucking gaff, leaving it wrapped around your upper thighs.

Step 2: Position the ‘twins’
Use gentle pressure and guide each twin, one at a time, upwards into the inguinal canals. This might feel weird at first. It should not hurt. If you feel pain, stop and try again later. Some people find it easier to do this while lying down. Gravity can help you!

Step 3: Position the ‘member’
Once the twins are in place, guide your member backward between your legs toward your bum. Aim for a flat and smooth front.

Step 4: Secure with your gaff
While holding everything in place, slowly pull the gaff up. Once it is on and secure, slide your hand away. A well fitted gaff will hold everything securely, without needing excessive tension. Make adjustments as needed. Small tweaks can greatly improve comfort and appearance.

Tips & Tricks
- Use cold to your advantage: A quick cold shower or even a cold compress beforehand can help everything contract slightly, making the whole tucking process easier.
- Don’t overdo it: You should not tuck for more than 8 hours at a time. Comfort and circulation matter more than a perfectly flat look.
- Prevent Chafing: Wearing thin panties under your gaff can reduce friction and prevent chafing. Especially if you’re wearing an extra firm gaff or are tucked for longer periods.
- Try lying down: If you’re struggling to tuck, lie down on your back while positioning everything. Gravity naturally helps guide things into place.
- Listen to your body: Discomfort is one thing. Pain is another. If something hurts, stop immediately and reset. Tucking should feel secure, but never painful.
- Invest in the right gaff: Not all gaffs are created equal! Thong gaffs help avoid panty lines, while bikini styles offer more coverage and comfort. Both can vary from firm compression to lighter compression. It just comes down to trial and error. Don’t be afraid to experiment until you find what feels right for your body.
