It’s been a few years since Georgia Brooks lit up our Eye Candy spotlight, and after many requests from our readers, we’re thrilled to finally share her update. So much has changed since her 2019 feature—she’s grown, explored, and embraced life in all its beautiful chaos. Curious where her journey has taken her? Keep reading—you won’t want to miss this one.
It’s been a few years since your 2019 Eye Candy feature—how has life changed for you since then?
Life has changed immensely since 2019. I’ve done a lot of growing and learning, not only of myself but of my ultimate goals in life. I’ve traveled, I moved from North Dakota to Las Vegas and back, I did my dream photoshoot in England, I got engaged and had a baby! So life I can say from the last we did this has changed for the best!
If someone’s discovering you for the first time now, what’s something you’d want them to know about you?
If you’re finding me for the first time, know that I am just a regular person. I’ve met a lot of people and something I get a lot, because of the way I present myself and maybe the style I take photos and such, that it can come off as uppity or bougie, something along those lines while in reality, I’m just a person. I started with bad makeup and outfit choices, but practiced with determination to get to where I am now. I don’t hold myself as someone who is better than anyone else, I’m just me. I don’t necessarily have time for everyone, no, especially now with being a parent, but that doesn’t mean I don’t try my best to be available to anyone. I’ve been through a lot because of dressing, mostly good, a little bad, but I turned the bad into motivation, so things would get better.
Has your approach to beauty or makeup changed over time? What’s one beauty tip or technique you’ve learned that you wish you knew earlier?
I’d say it’s changed a little but nothing drastic. Don’t be scared to experiment with things and products. Be willing to spend a little money on things that I’d say are best when spent some money on; foundation, eyeshadows, lashes. Everything else, find a product you like and work with it. There’s a lot of drugstore or cheaper brands that work for everything else.
Your signature pinup style is just one of the many things that make you stand out. For those who haven’t followed your journey on social media, how would you say your overall style has evolved over time?
I’d say outside wanting to do pinup and the lingerie aspect of everything, my style has evolved to blend in. Watch what others are wearing around you and blend in. Most girls don’t want to “stand out.” You’d like to go about your night and enjoy yourself with your friends, and too, your friends don’t want to be bombarded with questions all the time about this or the other thing. Match the vibe with your group and have fun. Enjoy feeling cute instead of full out glam. You’ll have a great time. I have had so many nights out where we all have a general idea what we wanna wear. Sometimes casual, sometimes glam, either way, you have a group to blend in with and have fun.
If you could only wear one color for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
Because I present as a redhead a lot, I’d probably say an olive green. It goes great with my skin, brings out my eyes and my hair!
What advice would you give to your younger self—in terms of confidence, style, or navigating public identity?
Don’t be scared to just do your own thing. I notice in our Crossdressing community, there’s a lot of the same thing. Be bold and go do those photoshoots, even if it’s not someone else’s style. Try different styles of wig and colors. Go out and enjoy yourself because no one really cares as long as you’re not hurting anyone else. I started the pinup side of things because I like the aesthetic of it all. The hair and clothes. Outside of other women, I didn’t see anyone else doing it, so I went for it. You can enjoy doing the same as others, but also have your own things as well.
What are some dreams or goals you’re hoping to chase in the near future?
The last real goal I have is to have myself published on a pinup magazine cover, with also myself as the photographer. Everything else I’d say at the time I last wrote, I did, and then some! I did the boudoir shoots, I had many nights out with friends, I was published as a cover model on a pinup magazine. I started my own photography and was published with that as well. I’ve done so much and I just did those things because ultimately, they were things I wanted to do. But there’s a lot of life to live so there’s always room to grow!
What is the best way for others to follow you on social media?
Personally, the best is Instagram! But I also have Facebook, Pinterest, and Spotify. Feel free to check out any or all!
And finally, is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers? Any stories, reflections, or a message you’d like to send out to the community?
Just work at it. I’m always working at my craft because my body changes, my face changes, everything changes over time. Trends change, hair style changes, but don’t be scared to try it and see if you like it. I was so against changing things up for so long. Now I do every chance I get. Crossdressing is fun if you allow it to be. It’s not weird, unless you make it weird for those around you. Be open with others about things and settle in, you’ll see people are more willing to understand you than you think. You’re allowed to be happy and have goals with this hobby, don’t be scared to reach for them, and don’t stop until you achieve them!
