Let’s start by telling everyone where you are from?
Hello, I am Stefanie. I live in, what former President Obama once described as,
brave little Belgium.
When did you first start dressing and how did it come about?
Since my teens I have loved looking in beauty magazines. My mother worked for Marie
Claire; so there were always a lot of Fashion Books in the house. I also loved to play
with Barbie dolls. Two years ago I took the step instead of dressing dolls dressing
up myself!
How did you come up with your Femme name?
Stefanie is the name of my grandmother. In Belgium you always get 3 first names.
The name the parents choose and the name of your grandfather and grandmother.
Stefanie is thus one of the official names on all my official documents. Isn’t that
great!
How often do you dress?
I only dress in my spare time, and I want everything to be as perfect as possible.
So once a month at least.
Are you married/in a relationship? If yes, are you able to share your female self with your partner?
I am not married, but I have friends to meet as Stefanie.
Tell us what goes into getting the perfect photo?
The Devil not only wears Prada but the Devil is also in the details. Everything
has to be inch perfect: outfit, wig, make-up, photographer, …
I am very happy I met Dafni Girls. They are top in creating an ultra-feminine look.
Drag Dreams in London was also a nice experience.
What are some of your favorite outfits/fashions?
Dresses & miniskirts are my favorites. People says I have beautiful legs, so it
would be a shame to hide them.
Stockings or pantyhose?
Pantyhose, but in Spring & Summer, we go bare legs!
Heels or flats?
High Heels of course, but Lord they are hard to walk with, certainly in European Medieval Towns! It’s a good thing that women can wear sneakers these days right. Let’s Converse the World
Favorite places to go when dressed?
The shopping mall, a fancy restaurant …
Go to accessories for a night out?
Hand bag, Smart Phone, Smile.
Who is/are your female role model(s) and why?
Jennifer Aniston (Friends), I love her style.
Lana Del Rey, I love her music.
Barbie of course.
Tell us some fun facts about yourself. What are your hobbies (either when dressed or not), likes, things you do in your spare time, or anything else you would like to share?
I love travelling and hiking in nature. I collect special Barbie dolls from designers
or create my own Barbie.
Any stories you would like to share about yourself and your journey?
I still have to explore many things. Next year I wanna travel more as Stefanie or go to a concert, car race or soccer game as Stefanie.
