“My sister lives in Iowa and I don’t get to see her very often. When I went to visit one time I showed her this girl on my laptop. I told her she knew her. She told me “No I don’t”. I told her she knew her very well and has known her for a long time. She insisted she didn’t. So I told her it was me. She couldn’t believe it and had to see more. I showed her just about every picture I had.” -Jamie

“Driving home one night all dressed up from a night out, I hit a pothole in the street. I could hear the air hissing out of the tire. All the sudden the tire was completely flat… it rumbled. I was too scared to break down all alone dressed like a woman, so… I kept going. The tire broke off eventually and I rolled all the way home on a rim.” -Danielle

“I was almost forced to come out when a stalker betrayed me and sent my pics to friends and in laws…my wife got access to their e-mails and saw that the email was viewed but, no one said anything about it. So, my mind still wonders what they think.”- Penny

My wife leaves me at home once a month during her regularly scheduled ‘girl’s night out’ with her friends. I would wait for her to return home so we could have ‘our time’ together. Month after month, year after year, our event grew and I became bolder and more inventive with my ‘preparation’ while waiting for her to return. It was probably about 3-4 years before I incorporated lingerie into our interaction for the first time. I do remember feeling silly at first. However, my wife didn’t mind because she knew I thought it was more exciting, I feel in love with it after that moment. -Kim

“In 2013, I snuck past my mom dressed for a night out with these new girls I met online. I had guys clothes over top of my girly outfit and a duffle bag filled with my wig, purse, and heels. I drove off and finished putting my makeup on in the car. I was so excited to actually meet others like me in public, for the first time. When the night ended I immediately knew I was going to transition and that this was me- the real me. And it felt amazing.. knowing this was the first day of my new and real life. The life of Danielle.” -Danielle

“Why, hi there! Where have you been all my life?”, I believe were my first words as…me.” Jaycee

“After my wife died, I ended up taking care of my mother-in-law who was living in the little house I built for her next to mine. I was afraid that one day she would walk in on me dressed. So, I showed her pictures and told her. She said she didn’t understand, but since it wasn’t hurting anyone, there was nothing wrong with it. Now, when I go out, I have to show her my outfits for approval. She always tells me my skirts are too short, but that she wished she had my legs”-Jamie

“My girlfriend always used to tell people how proud she was that she finally found herself a manly man… Meanwhile, I wear more pantyhose then she does. Clearly, it didn’t work out.” -Danielle

“I showed my Trans side by first posting a Halloween pic on Facebook, and then following it up 2 weeks later in a different outfit! It thus became clear that my being femme was NOT just for Halloween – I had revealed my “little secret” and shocked ’em all. Reactions changed from “Yay!” to “WHAT????”

-Shannon

“I got caught by my Aunt and that turned out ok. She allowed me to indulge in my fetish of boots and cross dressing” – Penny

“My parents always caught me as a kid, I didn’t have very much privacy. Or.. maybe it was the fact that my mom was always looking for her heels. Hahaha.”-Danielle

“I was at a counter of a major, upscale department store while I was dressed as Shannon. I didn’t know that my friend’s wife was watching me, in sheer amazement! Of course, later she told my friend what she saw. He later asked me, “What the heck was THAT about?” Oh well, I was caught – I had to (gulp) tell him about my “little secret.” -Shannon

“I fell out of bed and was knocked out once while trying on a pair of boots. The police and ambulance were called. I was laughed at by the doctors and nurses for wearing the boots and I was grilled by my dad as to why I had them. That was something I could not lie my way out of easily. The doctor recommended me to see a psychiatrist over it.” -Penny

“When I was 41, my girlfriend at that time found women clothing, heels, and accessories hidden under our bed. She freaked out. I was so lost for words, I just hung up on her.” -Danielle

“I met a girl that I felt comfortable telling my secret to. She was very okay with it. It eventually lead to a three-some with her and her best friend. They were both bisexual and loved the idea of me crossdressing. Our relationship was very open and I loved it. She would do my makeup and take pics of me all the time.” -Danielle

“I couldn’t wait to be me again, and again, and again.” Jaycee

“A friend’s daughter wanted to use my phone one time. Instead, she went through my pictures and found many of me dressed as a woman. Of course, she sent them to people that I knew, including her mom, dad, and many others. The next day I get so many hateful texts and messages. I was horrified and kinda lost it. After a couple days, I decided to say ‘fuck this’ and made a Facebook page for Danielle and came out.” -Danielle

“It had started with wearing long nails “for fun” way back when I was a child, and slowly progressed, over the years, to having painted toes all the time. So, I decided one night to “borrow” a dress from my significant other’s closet- just to see how I would feel. That’s when I discovered that this think, I have been doing was more there than just a fetish and hobby. I realized that all along, this is what had been missing from my life. I made my decision that night to continue expanding on it. I’ve never looked back since that one day.” J.C

“Of course, I had very little idea of what I was doing, but did manage to slather on some foundation, blush, mascara, and lipstick. After putting on the wig, I finally saw….me….for the first time. I had what I can only describe as a “magic moment”. I realized that this is me, and was who I was supposed to be.” Jaycee

“I had figured my significant other had already gone to bed (we sleep in separate rooms), so I decided to dress myself up. At about 2:00 AM, I had to go potty. I walked out of my room, to the restroom, opened the door, and ran straight into her, doing her business. I was horrified! I just got busted in full dress. She took one look at me in shock, and simply said “We’ll discuss this in the morning!”. We wound up having the first of many discussions the next day about…. Me.” J.C

“I wasn’t in the wrong body, just some wrong parts. Since then makeup, heels, and dressing feel so right. Now, I’m the happiest I have ever been and I will continue moving forward towards a happy life.” – Eva

“I came out about 2 years ago – to save my life. I have always been a woman, just in the wrong body. Now I live full time as a woman and I have never been happier. I may not be the prettiest one, but I am the happiest one. Each day I learn more on how to be the real me. One day, I will have the surgery to make me complete. Until that day, I will be the best woman I can be.” -Christina

“Since I alway used to steal my mother’s clothes when I was a teen my family used to call me the pantyhose crook.” -Danielle
