But what about that hidden part of your outfit that not many will see, well, unless you want them to. I’m talking about panties. There are so many different styles of feminine panties, that it can make your head spin. Male underwear has about 3 main styles and most men have a go-to style and just wear that for the rest of their lives. Genetic females have a different style of panties that can match up with different styles of clothing. Popular crossdresser panties
Thong
While the thong is notorious for being uncomfortable, it is a must-have for the girl that does not want to show any panty lines when wearing items like pencil skirts, tight pants, or bodycon dresses. With a triangle-shaped front, thin sides (waistbands) and a minimal back as it gets to the rear, the thong is a go-to for sure. Thongs sit a few inches below the waist and sit around your hip bone. Many crossdressers and TG girls prefer the thong gaff for tucking as it is both functional and sexy.
Bikini
Another classic panty is the bikini. The bikini sits somewhere between the thong and a full panty, so it’s perfect for those girls that want more coverage than a thong but still want to look sexy as you will still be able to show a hint of those cheeks. Like the thong, the bikini sits about three inches below the waist. A very versatile panty, the bikini can be worn with just about anything. This is also a favorite of girls looking for a tucking gaff that are not fans of the thong.
Full Briefs
Full briefs are just plain old comfortable underwear. Also known as “Granny Panties” the briefs offer full coverage with a high waistband. These can really go with anything and can be a great panty for stealth crossdressers. Put these on under your business suit and have that nice femme feeling all day. And for those girls that love the feel of satin on their skin, a full-coverage satin panty is a must!
G-String
The G-String is often considered the “fancier” version of the thong. With even less in the back then the thong and just thin strings instead of a waistband, this is the closest thing you can get to going commando while still wearing something. G-Strings are great for bodycon dresses and skirts as it will hide your underwear line completely in the rear. Plus, having a nice piece of lingerie with a matching G-String is always a hot choice.
Boy Shorts
Boy shorts are a feminine take on men’s briefs, hence the name. They are super functional and can be worn with skirts or flared dresses. In fact, because of their coverage, boy shorts are great with more open style dresses and skirts as they won’t expose you if your skirt rides up. Most boyshorts are made of cotton or nylon as comfort is key here. Plus, if done right, boyshorts can be really sexy in the bedroom with a little tank or t-shirt. Comfortable and sexy? This is a winner!
French Cut
A higher waisted version of the full brief, the french cut is great for those girls with a little extra tummy that want to flatten it out a bit as the panty comes up to your belly button. So not only are they super comfortable in their shape, they can help give you some shape. It’s a win-win! A great time to use the french cut brief is with high waisted pants.
Control Briefs
Similar to the french cut, the control brief is more of a full coverage brief where the french cut is cut higher up the leg. Control briefs do take things a bit further as they have built-in shapewear. Most control briefs sit below the belly button, but in some cases will go as high up as right below your chest to help with shaping. The thick waistbands keep everything tight and go great with form-fitting dresses or outfits. You can also find control panty gaffs that can help with tucking as well as flatten your tummy.
