Crossdresser underwear for tucking are usually specialist garments. Whilst there are different styles that will suit different body shapes, they should all have certain characteristics to ensure you end up with as flat a front as possible under clothing. They should have a strengthened, layered crotch area that is also a little wider than traditional ladies panties. These features help to ensure everything is held in place and can be tucked back between the legs. So, what are the most common shapes of crossdresser gaffs for tucking?
Thong Gaff
Perhaps the most common tucking undergarment is the thong style gaff. A thong is an undergarment where a thin piece of material runs down the butt cheek crack i.e. there is no coverage of the butt cheeks. Most crossdressers consider the thong-back the most effective tucking style because you get the most purchase with such a cut. Make sure the thong is made from a soft stretch fabric so you don’t experience chafing between the cheeks and always take extra care to wipe properly when taking bathroom breaks as the thong can get very close to your anus.
Bikini Back Gaff
Basically the same coverage and construction at the front as the traditional thong gaff. The difference in style is at the rear. A bikini back gaff gives fuller coverage of the butt cheeks. For those who feel the thong gives the sensation of having a permanent ‘wedgie’, the bikini style is the preferred choice. Bikini Gaffs also tend to minimize visible pany lines (VPL).
Fuller Panty Gaff
Sometimes available as a traditional classic full panty or even a boyshort style but with a higher waist. This cut of gaff usually has the widest crotch and so is particularly well suited to individuals who are well endowed and needing the security of knowing nothing is going to fall out.
V-Panty Gaff
A relative newcomer to different gaff styles is the v-panty or vee-string type of prosthetic vagina. Such garments are usually made from silicone or latex and not only seek to hide and flatten the front bulge, but they also have the outward appearance of an anatomically correct vagina for a complete male to female transformation. Certain styles also have choices of functionality e.g. built in catheter device for going to the washroom, sitting down, like a female.
The Different Styles of Ladies Panties
There are different designs and cuts of ladies panties. Crossdressers who prefer ladies panties need to remember they will not give the support needed for tucking like gaffs. But that is one of the attractions of ladies’ panties. They tend to also offer a wider choice in styles and materials which adds to the whole sensual experience. Many sissy boys love the choice of shiny satin, stretch lace cotton and even frilly panties.
Thong Briefs
The same cut or style as a tucking thong gaff but without the reinforced crotch area for a more relaxed fit. Remember, a thong gives the least coverage of all and the thong part of the garment running between the butt cheeks. All panties for men do need to be wide enough at the front to stop you falling out so try to ensure you select something with enough girth in the crotch.
Tanga Briefs
A very popular ladies style is the tanga brief. A cross between the thong brief and the bikini brief. It offers front and backside coverage with just a thin string of material joining to the waistband at the sides. There is no material covering the tops of the thighs on the side.
Bikini Briefs
For offering some coverage at the backside, the next step up from a thong is a bikini brief. These can be super sexy since they are low-rise at the front and back with a higher cut on the leg. Although the coverage on the backside usually is enough to cup the buttocks, they are low-rise enough to expose a little of the top of the butt crack.
Boyshorts & Hipster Briefs
Often similar in cut and style are boyshorts and hipsters. They are very cute and shaped like a ‘short’ short. Again, they are the next level up in offering coverage at the backside. This appeals to many from a comfort perspective and is a great alternative to a classic full panty brief.
Full Panty Briefs
Some crossdressers prefer the traditional full brief in a sexy stretch satin material. These have a retro appeal and some crossdressers talk about memories of such garments from childhood which first sparked an interest. These briefs sit at the natural waistline and offer the fullest coverage of all underwear. Larger crossdressers, those with a larger bum and simply those who prefer comfort over any other consideration, love this style.
