Babydolls: are short loose fitting nightwear sometimes made with built in cup sizes knowns as bralettes to create cleavage. They usually come with some sort of bottom (shorts, thong, skirt).
The sizing for these usually depend on your breast size since that is typically the only tight fitting part about this garment. The loose fitting flow of the rest of the top should be able to fit any size. So, be sure to measure your bust with your breast forms on, to accurately get the right size.
Slips: Sometimes confused with babydolls are small night dresses. Known for their ability to not cling to different materials. Slips are very popular to wear under dresses to stop chaffing, static cling etc. However, they are also very popular sleepwear. Many stores nowadays make beautiful satin slips that are silky to the touch. Perfect for lounging around waiting for bae to get home.
Sizing for these slips usually depend on your normal dress size. However, some prefer them to run big while other prefer a little tighter fit for a special occasion 🙂 It is completely up to preference but the average crossdresser size for slips is around 1X and up.
Gown: Are usually full length sleepwear that is loose fitting and made in a non-clinging material (like satin). These are similar to slips however you cannot wear them under dresses due to the length. These can be used to the same use as a slip in the sense of lounging around. However, they would be preferable in the colder months to keep your legs nice and warm.
Robes: Sleepwear robes are usually full length to keep you from cold. Usually used after you put on your sleepwear to walk around the house and stay warm. Preferable woman choose to buy robes that are the same material as their slips or nightgowns to keep that same smooth texture.
Corsets: Corsets can be used for lounge lingerie and can spice up bedroom dress play. Authentic steel boned corsets will have the long cord lacing and you can have your playmate cinch you into the garment and even help attach your stockings to the garters. Or you can use plastic boned corsets. These are usually cheaper and more glamourous than any steel boned corsets since they are meant to be seen. The plastic boning may make you more comfortable while lounging as opposed to the steel corsets though you cannot tighten plastic boned corsets like you can a steel boned corset to get the ideal hourglass figure.
Sizing for plastic boned corsets are based off of your waist measurements so be sure to measure yourself before you shop…
Bustier: Just like corsets, these garments are boned as well hook in the front and tie up in the back. They are also snug fitting to the body. The only difference is that you can usually find more comfortable bustiers than corsets. Bustiers are basically corsets made with the bedroom in mind. You can find hundred of very sexy Bustiers at any lingerie section. Again, being plastic boned they are not made for body-shaping merely for ‘looks’.
Depending on your sole purpose for putting any of these lingerie garments on, there are a couple different ways you can pair them with accessories. If you are going for a sexy look a black heel would pair nicely with any of these. Some jewels or a nice satin robe would also do the trick. If you are feeling lazy- some fuzzy comfy slippers will surely do the trick. Check out our lingerie section now!
