If there was ever a holiday to cross dress openly and freely it’s Halloween. In fact there are crossdressers that only dress at this time a year. For those that dress more frequently, Halloween is a great time for you to try different looks, especially ones you may be too shy to try during the rest of the year. Some girls will go totally opposite of their normal day to day femme look. If you are a casual girl, you may want to go really fancy. A ball gown or princess outfit may be a fun change of pace. Since Halloween may be the one time a year you can dress, we always say it doesn’t hurt to go with some old reliable girl costumes like an evil witch, a horny devil, a cheerleader, a police woman, a nurse or the many other costumes that will have you looking sexy and feminine. Let’s get into some of our tips to give you that perfect crossdressed Halloween.
How to Put Your Own Crossdresser Halloween Costume Together
If your budget is tight and you can’t really go all out on an extravagant costume, don’t fret. With some imagination and a split between items you may already have and a few purchased items, you can be ready for that Halloween party in no time. Remember, anything can be a Halloween costume with a little fake blood and brushed out wig. If you have knee high socks and heels, you can order a cheerleaders dress on its own and save a few dollars. Tease up your wig to look really wild, add some fake blood and fangs and you’re a vampire cheerleader.
A standard shirt and skirt could give you that schoolgirl look. Again, add some fake blood and discolored makeup and have her be a zombie schoolgirl. The same outfit would work as a zombie secretary. If you have a corset at home and a petticoat, you can clean up as a sexy maid. Remember it’s Halloween, so you can get away with a lot on a tight budget. Just be creative and go for it!
Halloween Makeup Ideas
Speaking of being creative, you can really go crazy with your makeup application if you’d like too. You can go with bolder, brighter colors. If you are really good at it, you can even do some designs on your face. Maybe some spiderwebs around your eyes or pumpkins on your cheeks. Have fun with it and try out some wild and wacky things you wouldn’t normally do in your day to day dressing. Try experimenting with Halloween colors like black, orange and purple and if you so desire, use a heavy amount of glitter. It’s your night to shine! Lastly, don’t forget those false eyelashes. Here, the longer and more extravagant the better. Try some colored lashes or even ones that are feathery. Search out some Drag Queen lashes as they would be a perfect choice here.
Halloween Hair Tips
There’s a few ways we can go when it comes to getting your hair on point for the Halloween festivities. If you are using a wig, try and go for a really different color. A cherry red or dark purple wig is a great way to go as these colors will really pop. If you want to go even further, back brush your wig to give you a lot of volume. Crazy looking hair with these wild colors will go great with a cheerleader look or a zombie costume. Try some pigtails if you are looking to be a naughty schoolgirl. A long, straight black wig will be the perfect compliment if you want to channel your inner Elvira and go for that hot vampire look.
If you are skipping the wig to style your own hair, try one of those color wash out hair sprays. You can choose from so many different colors that even the wildest of wigs may not be able to recreate. Plus the spray washes out in one or two hair washes. We don’t necessarily recommend using a color wash hair spray on your wig because it may be difficult to wash out. If you purchase a more affordable wig for the purpose of coloring it and styling it specifically for Halloween then by all means go for it. We just don’t want you ruining your favorite or more expensive wig.

If you are in a rush or are more of a lazy girl who doesn’t want to put a lot of effort into her costume, there are always costumes that are ready to go right out of the package.
