What better time of year to create a new look to impress your girlfriends than Valentine’s. Although our resident crossdresser makeup specialist has created this with the time of year in mind, you can use these colors and the look at anytime of the year of course. The color combinations could not be anymore feminine especially for a smouldering night time look.
Don’t be afraid of trying a new eyeshadow look and of using more than one color. This guide will walk you through creating a beautiful look for the eyes effortlessly every-time. Follow the simple instructions and the easy ‘cheat sheet’ diagram and it’s as easy as painting by numbers.
This is an easy look that any crossdresser can master with the use of some of our simple makeup palettes. In particular, we will be using Glamour Boutiques Professional Makeup Kit to master this perfect Valentine’s day look below.
Our palette comes with 44 Eyeshadows,3 Blushers,3 Press powders, 1 Lipstick,1 Mascara, 1 Eyeliner,1 Eye pencil,1 Lip pencil, 2 Lipglosses,12 Lipcolors, and applicator.
For this look you want to start by priming your eyes with a nice eyeshadow primer. This will guarantee that your eyeshadow will stay on all day and be as pigmented as possible.
After that you need to take your desired dark shade from the Professional kit and start blending that to the outer creases of your eye lids. You want to focus it more on the corners of your lids.
Be sure to blend out any harsh lines! You want the color to lightly fade out. This will work better if you use a large blending brush. If you do not have one, you can refer to our Quality Brushes Article to find out why you should get one!
After you are done beautifully blending out that dark color, you want to pick a nice light nude color from the kit to go on your inner lid. Always start from your tear ducts out to your middle lid.
Please, use the diagram for help on where to be placing your color. We want to take that nude and blend it out towards your darker shade.
Your eyes, should start to look like the picture above.
Your next step would be to get out some liquid liner. Here, you will need a steady hand and a little bit of patience. Trust me, it will go a long way.
Take your liner and, starting from the inner corner again, drag it out along your lash line towards the end of your eyelid. When you reach the end of your eyelid stop applying product.
Once, you have a nice solid line along your lash line, you will start creating that cat eye effect. Start by first, drawing a line straight out from the end of your lid. (refer to the diagram)
You can draw the line as long as you desire depending on how dramatic you prefer the look to be. Once, you’re done drawing in your desired length you can connect it to the rest of your liner for the perfect cat eye look!
Lastly, take that same nude color that you put on your inner lids and apply some directly under your brow to create a little more dimension.
Don’t forget, take a nice bright red lipstick from your palate and apply it all over your lips to complete this amazing look! I hope you guys try it out. If you do, send us your finished look to firstname.lastname@example.org or you can post your look on our Facebook page!
