Top Male to Female Makeup Artists 2026

Since Covid, the offering of Male to Female Makeup Artist services has changed. There are some ‘new kids on the block’, some still remaining and some have retired or moved on. What hasn’t changed is there are still some excellent practitioners that truly understand what it takes to turn a regular guy into a beautiful female.

If you are not close to any of the following recommendations just make sure any artist you consider has worked with crossdresser clients before. You need a makeup artist (MUA) who understands the different structure of a female face versus a male face. A male face typically has a larger nose, more prominent brow and jawline. A MUA should use the following techniques to mask the overtly male features and thereby make your face appear more feminine:

– Use of contouring and highlighting (dark and shade)

– Face taping to change facial and eye brow shape

– Color correction to mask dark areas like beard shaddow

– Eyebrow shaping which may include plucking or covering

Based on customer feedback Glamour Boutique brings you a selection of artists/services around the country that garner great customer feedback and respect for the work they do:

  • Glamour Boutique, Fairfield, NJ
  • Elizabeth Taylor, Takoma Park, MD
  • Just You, Las Vegas, NV
  • Coco Coquette, Austin, TX
  • Annaliese, Los Angeles, CA

There are of course more but we are concentrating on those reported to us by clients that have experienced the services themselves.
