CORSET CALCULATOR

Corset calculator: Wearing the right corset for your body shape

Use our simple graphical representation corset calculator to match your body-type to a corset model that will maximize your waist reduction and feminine shaping. There are a variety of different corset types out there, so we understand it can be hard to find the right one for your body. After all, you want to look and feel sexy, and not just spend the entire time in your corset feeling like you need to take it off. It does take some getting used to if you’ve not worn a corset before, but by ensuring you pick the right type for your body shape will make it easier to wear.

Steel-boned corsets

Steel-boned corsets are made using flexible but durable and sturdy steel rods. They’re inserted vertically into the material and are great for creating a more defined and feminine waistline. They’re popular with both crossdressers and women alike as they’re good at what they do, but first-time selection of a steel-boned corset can be tricky.

First of all there is sizing and how to correctly measure yourself for a corset. But, just as important is working out which style and model of corset will maximize your results. Factors to include are the shape of your body, amount of body-fat, height and your goals for waist training. If you’re looking to purchase a corset from Glamour Boutique, each individual corset has its own sizing guide and corset size calculator, but if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

The following graphical representations will help to easily identify the best corset model for your current body. We’ve identified some of the most common body types for this post, but if you are personally within another category, please contact us or pop into our store and we will be able to help you choose the perfect corset, size and design for your body type.

Corsets for slim or medium-sized bodies

If you have a slim or medium-sized body, we recommend our single-boned cinchers or underbust corsets for a natural hourglass figure for beginners and intermediate. Or, if you’re a more seasoned corset wearer, you may wish to try our double-boned cinchers for increased waist reduction.

Corsets for curvier bodies

Curvier figures would benefit from choosing to wear an underbust corset for waist training, or if you’re not looking for waist training, a general underbust corset. These types of corsets help to cinch and reduce your lower belly as well as the waist area.

If you’re after a more extreme look, you can always try our extra strong double-boned underbust corset which will provide further belly reduction. We recommend working up to something like this if you’re new to corsets so you don’t cause any unnecessary discomfort.

Corsets for larger bodies

If you have a larger body, you may wish to consider something a bit more durable to help you in your quest to gain a more hourglass figure. We recommend looking at the extra strong double boned satin cincher which focuses more on reducing the belly area.

Please note larger males with an extended belly may find it necessary to start off with a short cincher to begin with and then graduate up to a fuller length underbust corset. Call our corset helpline at 1-888-721-8688 TOLL FREE for advice at any time.
