How to Feminize Large Feet and Hands

One of the toughest issues we girls have when dressing up for a night out, are our hands and feet. If not taken care of properly, your hands and feet can really hurt the image you are trying to present. While we can’t physically change our hands and feet, these tips can help feminize their look and give you that little extra something

Let’s start with our hands.

A MANICURE is a perfect way to start getting your hands in order, if nothing else to give them a nice soft feel. If you are able to grow out your nails, a square or oval look works best as pointed nails will only elongate your fingers further. If you are using nail tips, make sure to follow the same rule and keep them square or oval and no more than a quarter inch past your fingertips. Whether you use tips or your own nails, make sure to use neutral tones for nail polish. Bright colors can draw too much attention to your hands.

If you are going to take care of your hands at home, make sure to get the proper tools to make your hands look the best they can. Invest in a nail brush, nail file, buffer and some nice hand cream to help your hands stay nice and soft and always at their best. One of the most important parts of hand care? Make sure to shave your hands and knuckles. Something that may sound obvious is often forgotten and will ruin the image you are trying to present.

MASKING masculine hands can be done rather easily with the addition of jewelry. Bangle bracelets are excellent as they shorten the length of your wrist and hand. Adding some rings will allow your fingers to hide their size as well. Don’t over do it as flashy jewelry, like bright nail polish will draw too much focus to an area you usually want to avoid attention.

Lastly, a blouse with longer sleeves or a blouse with bell sleeves are perfect as they reach past your wrist and cover a portion of your male hands. This bell sleeve blouse is an example of the style that helps best.

Now that our hands are in order, let’s take a look at our feet.

A PEDICURE – First and foremost, get a professional pedicure. Many men get pedicures so don’t feel shy about going in and getting a little pampered by a professional while walking around as your male self. The pedicurist will clean up your nails and get rid of any calluses and soften up any roughness on your feet leaving them to look and feel amazing.

Like your hands, make sure to shave off any hair on your feet or toes. If there is an issue with shaving, we recommend a pair of opaque hosiery as it will hide the hair and any blemishes on your feet.

While you can’t accessorize with a lot of jewelry to hide the size of your feet, it comes down to the right shoes. We cannot stress enough how important it is to find the right shoe and the right fit for you. First, no matter what shoe style you prefer (flats or heels), they should fit properly. There is nothing worse than purchasing a pair of shoes that make it painful to walk and in doing so, hurt the way you are presenting yourself when out and about. Plus, after all the hard work to get ready in your best outfit, why be in pain and not enjoy yourself.

To give the illusion of a smaller foot, we recommend a closed toe shoe. A Ballet Flat is perfect if you are looking to stay low to the ground. If you are looking for a heel, a slight heel that curves the foot will help your foot have a smaller look. A High Heel Pump is a perfect choice as it gives you the heel you want, that slight curve to shorten your foot and is a closed toe as well.

ANKLETS are a great way to add a little accessory to your ankle to help give it a little feminine touch. This heart anklet for example, is a perfect accessory for flats or flip flops.

While your hands and feet might not feel like your sexiest features, with these tips, you can be well on your way to having them feel and look feminine. Like the rest of your body, the more you take care of yourself the better you will feel.
