Over the years, breast forms have become more and more essential to crossdressing. Breast forms have come a long way and now more than ever they help with our overall look when dressed. So depending on what you intend to use your forms for, you should first identify what type of Crossdresser you are. So here is a checklist of forms from our store for just about any crossdresser and activity you may have.
The Fetish Crossdresser
Some crossdressers we speak to purely dress as a fetish. Many times, fetish CDs want to go big. Sometimes REALLY big. In those cases we often recommend our line of Large Breastforms. These large forms are not for the faint of heart and once you receive them you will know why. All of the large breast forms have a lot of weight to them so using an adhesive to attach them to your chest is off the table. A good pocket bra or underwire bra is a must here as you will definitely need the support. The fact of only being able to use a bra for these large forms is in some ways a benefit as it cuts down on application time exponentially as you do not need to wait for your forms to adhere to your body.
The Crossdresser looking to pass in public
In many ways, this is the most common CD as many of our friends and customers do go out dressed quite often. With so many options to choose from here, which way do you go? One rule of thumb here is that in order to pass, your chest must look natural. In most cases that means a C-Cup. Depending on your weight and frame, you can go either a little smaller (B) or larger (D), but I would stop there unless you really want to appear ‘busty’.

The Topless Crossdresser
Some crossdressers love the feel of breast forms on their skin as if they are part of the body. They want to be able to walk around topless and not worry about bras or support. If this sounds like you, the most important thing to consider is the weight and size of the forms. Once you have the proper forms, the next step is a strong adhesive and prepping your chest for application.
To prep your skin and the forms, make sure to use a medical wipe like the Skin Tac wipes. Once everything is prepped, the next step is to use a medical adhesive like Hollister to attach the forms. Since it’s a medical grade glue, it can keep the forms safely attached to your skin for a long time. Along with the adhesive remover, these three items will keep your breast forms looking great while attached. Just remember to follow the proper care instructions for optimal use and longevity. The most realistic specialist breast forms for toppless-wear are the Real Breast which has a vanishing edge. You can see from the photo above the amazing topless look these give off. When it comes to wanting to be topless in your forms, there is no comparison.
The Sleeping Crossdresser
The Sleeping Crossdresser enjoys the feel of having their forms on all day and all night. Now when it comes to sleeping in breast forms, there are only a handful that can be safely used in that way. Traditional silicone gel based breast forms will break down internally if there is pressure pushed on them for lengths of time. If you roll over on them or sleep on your chest, you can and will eventually damage or pop the breast forms.
There are a few options that can work. Foam breast forms are a safe and affordable way to have forms in a pocket bra and sleep. Since they are foam, there is no worry for popping or damage but they do not have the movement or feel of silicone forms. The PALs forms are made of gel very similar to silicone and can offer a way to have the forms attached to your body (via a special gel adhesive) or you can put them in a pocket bras as well. They are indestructable and safe for sleeping.
For the most realistic forms that you can sleep in, check out the Aphrodites. The Aphrodites, are a non-pu silicone breast form, meaning there are no seams to tear when sleeping. They are also self adhesive so sleeping topless is an option as well. What you sacrifice in softness of a traditional gel form you make up for in their appearance and self-adhesive quality.
The Cleavage Obsessed Crossdresser
Aside from questions about butt and hip padding, our most asked question is “How can I get some sexy cleavage that looks real?” Your best option in this case would be to go for a breast plate. Since the breast plate is all one piece, the breasts look more natural. If you look at the picture above, you can see what we mean. The one thing you do have to remember is a plate will have a cutoff point where you will have a line where your neck and the plate meet. In that case we recommend a scarf, choker or necklace to cover the neck line. With a good makeup job, you can also get everything to blend properly. But for a quick solution, the necklace is the way to go.
