Eye Candy: Tori Kleckner

Last July, we had our first Glamour Girl Eye Candy Month which featured 4 of our Glamour Girl Contest finalists/winners.  We are keeping up with this summer tradition as we get to know more about this year’s finalists and winners.

A few years back, Tori Kleckner entered her first and only Glamour Girl Contest.  Our judges loved her as she finished high in their choices.  Then she took a couple year’s off.  This year she returned and took her comeback all the way to becoming this year’s Kitten Champion.  We caught up with Tori to break the news of her win and to sit down for an interview.  Let’s meet Tori!

Congratulations on being named this year’s Kitten Champion. How does it feel to be the winner?

I feel honored to be named this year’s Kitten Champion among all my beautiful fellow contestants. This contest is one of the few platforms for trans women and crossdressers to present their true selves. It’s especially empowering to represent this community during pride month.

Tell us how you go about choosing your outfits and how you choose what photos to submit.

When choosing outfits, I first consider what will compliment my frame in a feminine manner. I also like to make sure that the outfit is suitable for the season. When choosing photos to submit I try to select photos where my full femme identity confidently shines.

What advice would you give girls entering the contest next year?

My advice would be to select your entry photos carefully. Don’t be afraid to take a ton of pictures and choose the few that stand out to you and represent you the most.

Any final words for your fellow girls? Our readers and judges?

My final words are to never feel ashamed of being yourself. It took me a long time to accept who I was, but once I finally did I was much happier and able to find a group of accepting friends. To my fellow girls, I’m so proud of all of you for having the bravery to be your true selves. Thank you all!!

Let’s start our main interview by letting our readers know where you are from?

I’m from the East Coast not too far from Philadelphia.

When did you first start dressing and how did it come about?

I started dressing when I was 10 years old. I would sneak into my sister’s room while she was away at college and try on her clothing. Eventually I started experimenting with her makeup and learned how to apply it.

How did you come up with your Femme name?

I stole it from the first girl that I had a crush on in kindergarten. She used to wear a rose in hair.

How often do you dress?

Not often enough! I’ve lived with some of my good friends who I’ve kept my femme self a secret from, so I don’t have too much freedom. I’d say it’s about once a month.

Are you married/in a relationship? If yes, are you able to share your female self with your partner?

No, I am single. I’d like to find a partner that I can confide in and be my true self around.

What are some of your favorite outfits/fashions?

I love layering, so fall/winter outfits are some of my favorites.

Stockings or pantyhose?

Stockings.

Heels or flats?

Heels!

Favorite places to go when dressed?

I definitely love to go shopping when dressed. My favorite stores are Free People and Madewell. I also enjoy going out to dinner with my girlfriends while dressed.

Go to accessories for a night out

Hoop earrings, handbag, press on nails

Who is/are your female role model(s) and why?

Hunter Schafer for her bravery to embrace her trans identity and fight for LGBTQ+ rights.

Tell us some fun facts about yourself. What are your hobbies (either when dressed or not), likes, things you do in your spare time, or anything else you would like to share?

In my free time, I enjoy exercising. I find it helps with my mental health and helps me maintain a feminine figure. I also like to let loose once and a while and go clubbing with friends.

Any stories you would like to share about yourself and your journey?

I’d just like to share that I’ve found there are a lot of kind, accepting people out there if you’re willing to open up. I know it can be scary sometimes, but opening up to someone can be life changing.

If you have social media, what is the best way for others to follow you?

My Instagram is: toristurn22

Before we go, would you like to send a message to your fellow girls out there or a closing statement.

Keep doing you girly! Be that confident, femme, bad ass b*tch that lives inside all of us. Never forget women come in all sorts of colors, shapes and sizes.

Thanks Tori!  And congratulations on being this year’s Kitten Champion! We look forward to seeing you next year and for many more to come!
