Let’s start by telling everyone where you are from?
I’m from Canada and I live in the beautiful province of British Columbia. In a town of 100,000 about a 4 hour drive inland from Vancouver.
When did you first start dressing and how did it come about?
My earliest recollection is when I was around 4 or 5 years old. I found a pair of shorts and they were either silk or satin and I used to sit and feel it between my fingers. I just loved the feel of the material. I started dressing a little bit by putting on my mom’s stockings and shoes and sometimes lipstick when I was about 9 or 10. Then I started dressing fully as a girl when I was in my mid teens and Started going out in public when I was in my late teens. This has continued for most of my life. I have now tiptoed into my 70’s and I’m finding the desire to dress more often has increased substantially.
How did you come up with your Femme name?
My fem name came modifying my male name and it was also a name that I thought was very feminine.
How often do you dress?
I go shopping with one of my girl friends at least twice a month and cap the day off at our favourite pub for happy hour with some of our Cis girlfriends. I also belong to two Trans social groups in Vancouver so I am down there for their functions fairly often and there’s also a Trans social group in the Okanagan that I belong to and they put on a few events throughout the year too. So I guess my answer would be probably a bit more than my SO would like.
Are you married/in a relationship? If yes, are you able to share your female self with your partner?
Yes, I am married. She knows about Trish as do my two sons and our immediate families. My wife is accepting of my crossdressing but is not supportive. She has no desire to meet Trish or see any pictures of her.
Tell us what goes into getting the perfect photo?
For me its ensuring your lighting is indirect, the poses you use and probably the most important thing is to smile. It is amazing the difference a smile will make in both your looks and the photo you’re wanting to take. I follow Heidi Phox, another former Eye candy girl. She has posing down to a science and it has helped me a lot with my poses…
What are some of your favorite outfits/fashions?
For this question, I’m a bit of a rebel to some. I don’t believe in age appropriate dressing rather dressing for the age you look. I’m a firm believer in “if you got it, flaunt it” so I love wearing mini dresses, mini skirts with tank tops, and rompers. I do have some knee length dresses too. I also like wearing T’s and jean skirts or jeans and also leggings.
Stockings or pantyhose?
Absolutely stockings. For me they’re the most feminine piece I wear.
Heels or flats?
Heels for sure. There’s nothing that makes your legs look better than heels. I have a few 3″ heels when I know I’m going to be on my feet for a long time. But usually I’ll wear 4″ heels and 5″ heels when I really want to glam it up.
Favorite places to go when dressed?
Night clubs, pubs, dinner dates and of course what girl doesn’t like shopping.
Go to accessories for a night out
My main go to accessories are my ear rings, with my hair style the only earrings to wear that can be seen are large hoop earrings. If I’m wearing a longer wig I’ll wear long dangly earrings and have my hair back on one side so the ear ring is visible. I also have a beautiful bracelet I wear with just about everything and it’s the colours of the Trans flag. I just love it. I have had more comments on that bracelet than any other piece of jewelry I’ve worn.
Who is/are your female role model(s) and why?
This is an easy one. When I was in my early 20’s my female role model was my wife. She was and is absolutely gorgeous and if she and I were walking down the street when we first met she caused more than her share of near accidents. I developed my early wardrobe based on the styles she wore as well as the make up I used and how I applied it. Up until recently she never even knew this.
Tell us some fun facts about yourself. What are your hobbies (either when dressed or not), likes, things you do in your spare time, or anything else you would like to share?
Well, as far as hobbies go I consider crossdressing a hobby. I thoroughly enjoy projecting the best possible female image I can. Due to a fairly serious accident most of the things I liked to do in my spare time like playing soccer, snow and water skiing and skydiving I can no longer do. But I like traveling, camping, spending time at our place by the lake and also spending countless hours just going out on our pontoon boat and either just floating or taking the occasional day trips up the lake.
Any stories you would like to share about yourself and your journey?
My journey has been a struggle accepting who I was but I was never ashamed, Trish is a part of who I am. The highlights of my journey though are two fold. The first being all my wonderful sisters that I have met over the past years and the girls that I have become very close to. The second is during my journey I found out how many girls were absolutely terrified to go out in public. A lot of them had no real reason to feel that way as they were very pretty and some just needed help with make-up or putting outfits together and some just needed some reassurance. But for all of them, myself included, the biggest hurdle was just taking that first step out the front door. So I’ve tried to help as many of these girls as I can become the confident, self assured women they always wanted to be and I’m meeting one of them for the first time at Diva Las Vegas in October.

Before we go, would you like to send a message to your fellow girls out there or a closing statement.
Girls believe me when I say you are prettier and more feminine than you think. The harshest judge you’ll ever meet is yourself. When you’re out just remember this, keep your head up, your shoulders back and wherever you go act like you own it. But the most important thing to remember is to smile…….a lot. And lastly if you get clocked it’s not the end of the world just smile and be polite and remember that while you’re out and about you are our representative so make a good impression on everyone you meet. I honestly don’t think there’s a girl out there who hasn’t been clocked at one time or another.
