Glamour’s Eye Candy of the Month is Susan Albright
For this months Eye Candy, we have a very special treat as we welcome our 2017 Glamour Girl Super Cougar winner, Susan Albright. This Michigan native who is now a Southern gal beat out some very stiff competition including a former Grand Champion to claim her crown. Once we heard our judges chose Susan as our winner, we just knew we had to get to know this lovely woman. So let’s get right to it and meet the beautiful Super Cougar, Susan.
First off Susan, congratulations on being this years Super Cougar Glamour Girl Winner! How does it feel to be this years Super Cougar Champion?
Fabulous, beyond description, positive affirmation of my femininity. I am still on cloud nine!
How many years have you been entering the contest?
This was my first year to enter the contest. I had been very reluctant to try as I felt that I could not compete with all the beautiful girls.
Well we now know you can compete with all of them!
Changing gears a bit, where are you from?
I currently reside in Georgia but I am originally from the upper Midwest
How did you come up with your Femme name?
Being a tall woman I was inspired by Susan Anton, a former Miss California who stands 5’11.” She was also the Muriel Cigar model and looked fantastic in evening gowns
When did you first start dressing and how did it come about?
Like so many of us it started when I was young, around seven or eight. I can remember having several pages of a Sears catalog foundation section featuring a model in a baby blue bra and girdle. I wanted to look like her and would borrow some of my moms things and play dress up. I loved the way it made me feel…. like a real girl! The full acceptance of myself came about 6 years ago in Chicago, where I went to Transformations by Rori. Olivia did my makeup, selected my dress and wig and brought forward the “new woman.”
How often do you dress?
Limited for now but as I gain greater acceptance of myself I look forward to monthly outings.
Are you married/in a relationship? If yes, are you able to share your female self with your partner?
Married yes, but I am not able to share this with her. She is aware of this side of me but does not want to have anything to do with it
Stockings or pantyhose?
I love both but it depends on the outfit that I am wearing.
When I really want to look and feel my best it’s thigh high lace top stockings!
Heels or flats?
Heels, heels, heels and occasionally flats
What are some of your favorite outfits/fashions?
I prefer to be up to date with the styles that are age appropriate for me. That does not mean flowered house dresses popular in the 50’s, but I think I have a classy look and shop to build my closet. I love skirts and tops, dresses, skinny jeans and of course my heels.
Favorite places to go when dressed?
When I lived in Michigan it was Adams Apple and Gigi’s. Here in Georgia it’s Johnny Hideaway in Atlanta and a couple of mainstream venues with my girl friends.
Who is/are your female role model(s) and why?
That’s a tough one as there are so many to choose from. I know it’s not PC but I do admire Caitlyn Jenner, not for her political views but for having the courage to become who she truly is.
Also on my list is Annie Smith, Jenee Davis and Tania Wilde – all from Facebook.
These are the woman who gave me the strength and courage to really be me.
Do you have any hobbies, likes, or things you do in your spare time?
I enjoy reading (fantasy) and golf along with travel.
If you have social media, what is the best way for others to follow you?
I am on Facebook and have just started a Flickr page.
What message would you like to leave your fellow girls with as we bring this interview to a close?
Follow your dreams!!! With the emergence of many transgender people, society is getting more familiar with us and this is a good thing. Get up, get dressed and get out there! If I can do it so can you!
