Introducing our Eye Candy of the Month: Miss Georgia Brooks

After last month’s exciting one year anniversary Eye Candy threesome with two Glamour Girl Grand Champions and our official anniversary girl, we knew we had to up our game this month. We really went for it as this month we say hi to Miss Georgia Brooks. Georgia has been a contestant in our Glamour Girl and Sexy Legs Contest for quite some time now and is always placing in the Top 10, even winning her Kitten Category a few years back. What we love about Georgia are her gorgeous pin-up style photoshoots and her fearlessness in front of a camera. Let’s get to know this budding Instagram star a little better.

Hi Georgia. Thanks for kicking off our second year of Eye Candy. Let’s start by telling our readers where you are from?
Grand Forks, North Dakota

When did you first start dressing and how did it come about?
I started right around the age of 14. I’d always paid close attention to what girls wore and always wondered about what it would look like on me. It also comes from a lot of stress. I put a lot of pressure on myself to be good at everything, I played sports in school, drive race cars, had to be good in school, just a lot of pressure. Dressing was my escape.

How did you come up with your Femme name?
Georgia is far enough away from my real name (Jordan) but close enough to not get lost and also be feminine.

How often do you dress?
It depends on how I feel honestly. More during the winter months than summer but slowly that’s changing. I normally only do for shoots and hanging with friends now days rather than just because.

Are you married/in a relationship? If yes, are you able to share your female self with your partner?
I just got out of a year-long relationship with an amazing girl who is very understanding of me and knew before getting into a relationship with me. I’m the person that wouldn’t be in one if they didn’t know and accept right away. It’s not fair to them nor me if I hid it.

What are some of your favorite outfits/fashions?
I’m very into the Pinup fashion and those who know me or have seen my Instagram would know that I strive to be included in that scene. Otherwise pretty casual, shorts, jeans, I’m just blending in.

Stockings or pantyhose?
Stockings, being into the pinup culture, I’m very into the garters and holdups with my lingerie looks.

Heels or flats?
Heels are preferred but I’m fine with Vans with most looks too

Favorite places to go when dressed?
I’m lucky and get to go out with friends quite often to a bar or out to eat.

Go to accessories for a night out?
I’m not really an accessories girl. I just don’t like the feeling so rarely, if ever, will I
wear any.

Who is/are your female role model(s) and why?
Women in general. They go through so much I as a man on a daily basis don’t have to. So really any woman. Some of my idols are Heather Valentine, Pinup Palmer, etc. There are so many and I hate to leave any out.

Tell us some things we might not know about you. What are your hobbies (either when dressed or not), likes, things you do in your spare time or anything else you would like to share about yourself.
I drive dirt race cars and have since I was 14. I love sports, I do makeup as a side gig for weddings and outings, I love to travel and meet people.

Any stories you would like to share about yourself and your journey?
I was outed when I was 26. I got dragged hard through it all because I grew up in a small spotlight where one side of the state I live in knew me. I didn’t respond and because of it, people started to come around to it and now some of those people have come around to be friends. It has also led me to become a drag model and now a published Pinup model. Dreams of what you want to do can be real if you work for them, even as a crossdresser.

If you have social media, what is the best way for others to follow you?
Instagram. I use that for all my photos and what’s going on. You can follow me @missgeorgiabrooks

You’re known for your amazing photos. Tell us about your process when doing your photo shoots? Inspirations? Looks you go for? Favorite style of shoot?
So when getting set up for a shoot, it all kind of depends on your Photographer. What kind of style they have, what they’re into look wise. Luckily I have friends that are amazing and that love working with whatever I have in mind.
Looks I go for and style of shoot: For anyone that knows me, I’m a Pinup style girl. I’ve always been into the vintage fashion and such so always pinup like or styled.

What advice would you give to girls entering the Glamour Girl Photo Contest next year?
Work on your craft. I see so many people just settle and never try and get better. It’s a process. I didn’t get here overnight nor will you or anyone. Watch YouTube, look at Instagram and see what others use that works and styles you like. Don’t ever settle.

If you would like to send a message out there to your fellow girls or a closing statement.
Don’t ever settle. We’re doing something we love, so take pride in it. Take pride in the art you create and strive to be the best version of you. Refuse to let anyone drag you down and continue doing what you love. You only get one life, live it, and don’t be in fear of those around you. I didn’t start living until I came out from the fear of what others will think, and my life has been an amazing ride since.

Now that’s a quote to live by. Thanks so much Georgia!
