Introducing our Eye Candy of the Month: Maggie
This month’s Eye Candy Girl is someone who reached out to us during one of our searches for volunteers. We were so excited to sit down and talk to her. Let’s meet this small town girl and learn all about Maggie.
Where are you from?
I have always lived in a small town in North Carolina.
When did you first start dressing and how did it come about?
As long as I can remember I have had an interest in female clothing. I was a normal little boy but sometimes felt jealous of all the pretty things a girl could wear. It was probably the age between 10 and 12 when I actually dressed completely besides makeup and wig.
How did you come up with your Femme name?
One day my wife and I were talking about my dressing and decided my female side needed a name. We threw around several different names but Maggie seemed to stick.
How often do you dress?
Not as often as I would like. I have to work my dressing into a busy schedule. At times I’ve been able to dress a couple times a month and other times it may be 6 or 8 months between sessions.
Are you married/in a relationship? If yes, are you able to share your female self with your partner?
I have a wonderful wife. She knows about Maggie and doesn’t mind if I dress up, as long as it doesn’t disturb mine or my family’s everyday life. She has surprised me with outfits and makeup gifts. She has spent time with Maggie at home but we haven’t ventured out in public together. She is supportive but honestly it’s easier for her to just give me some Maggie time and not get involved.
What are some of your favorite outfits/fashions?
I enjoy so many types of outfits and fashions. I guess it depends on my mood and occasion. Anywhere from casual jeans to a little black dress. At times less is more and a lingerie/ boudoir photo session is just what a girl needs.
Stockings or pantyhose?
I love them both, pantyhose could be what started my love for dressing. The stockings are more for the bedroom look and I use them for photos. If I’m in a skirt or dress at home or going out I will more than likely have on pantyhose.
Heels or flats?
I try to pick the shoes for the occasion and outfit. I prefer heels but at times they can draw more attention than what I would like.
Favorite places to go when dressed?
I think shopping and going out to eat would be at the top of the list. Not only shopping for clothes but also makeup. I really enjoy going to Ulta or Sephora as Maggie. The sales girls always make my day. They are full of compliments and lead me around the store showing me items to try. I always seem to leave with new friends.
Go to accessories for a night out
I don’t have my ears pierced but there’s plenty of options for clip on earrings. Something about a dangling earring makes me feel a lot more feminine.
Who is/are your female role mode
My wife and all women really. They are all awesome and beautiful in each individual’s way.
Tell us some fun facts about yourself. What are your hobbies (either when dressed or not), likes, things you do in your spare time, or anything else you would like to share?
I enjoy being in the great outdoors. I also like classic and antique vehicles. I hope to incorporate Maggie with more vehicles soon. Maybe I can get some pinup looks in the future.
Any stories you would like to share about yourself and your journey?
The most important thing in my journey was telling my wife. We had been married around 10 years and I had secretly kept things to myself. I always thought when I got married I wouldn’t desire to dress anymore. It was actually worse because her clothing was easier to access when home alone. I felt bad hiding it from her and it was a struggle in my mind. Everyday life was getting stressful and I had many other battles I was dealing with. One day I decided it was best to get rid of the stress of hiding my secret from my best friend. Of course I tried to drop hints but she never took the bait . The day came when I just sat her down and told her. It was the best decision and I hated that I waited so long to tell her. That is actually when my journey started and I could get clothes, shoes, accessories and wigs of my very own.
If you have social media, what is the best way for others to follow you?
I’m not on social media a lot but I do have a Flickr account (Maggie sometimes). I’m also on Instagram at (Ambersmaggie)
If you would like to send a message to your fellow girls out there or a closing statement.
We are all winners. Each one of us has different desires and circumstances. Some dress daily and some maybe once a year. Some get professional makeovers/photos while some are limited with time and budget. Some aren’t able to share a face picture but share what they can. Some plan to fully transition and some are happy with transforming for a few hours. We are all different and that’s perfectly ok. Each time we put ourselves out there we win. When you dress up, take the photos, pick one you are proud of, post it or maybe enter it into a contest, then you are the grand prize. Enjoy it, have fun and do it for you!
