Eye Candy of the Month: Jennifer Blossom

Introducing our Eye Candy of the Month: Jennifer Blossom

This month’s Eye Candy Girl is a real treat.  With our Sexy Legs Contest launching, we felt it would be a great time to celebrate a former Sexy Legs Champion.  Jennifer Blossom won our Sexy Legs contest in 2017 and has since gone on to be a regular customer in our showroom in New Jersey and a friend.  You can even see her in our newest commercial!  We know you will love her as much as we do.  So without further ado, let’s meet Jennifer Blossom!

Hi Jennifer.  We are so glad to see you and be able to talk today.  Why don’t we start by telling our readers where you’re from?

Sometimes I feel like I am from another planet, but I live in the suburbs of New York City.  I am fortunate to live in this area as NY, NJ, CT, and PA offer many venues, events, stores, and transformation services for girls like me.

When did you first start dressing and how did it come about?

I first got into mom’s pantyhose at about 7 years old, maybe younger.  I am not sure what inspired me to try them on, but I did, and I was hooked.  With my sisters in the next bedroom there was never a shortage of clothing to try on or makeup to experiment with.

How did you come up with your Femme name?

Nearly 10 years ago I went for a full M2F transformation with my wife at my side.  I still remember parking at the address provided and turning off the car.  My wife and I looked at each other, wondering out loud if we were crazy to do this.  Our nerves calmed once we got inside and enjoyed a little small talk with our host.  Tasked with choosing my outfit, my wife picked out a purple pleated micro-mini skirt and a black bustier top, which I eagerly put on over my pantyhose and panties.   Once my makeup was done, a pair of black stiletto heels were strapped to my feet.  Finally, a blond wig was stretched over my head and teased out with a pick. I was amazed at my transformation, and I hardly recognized myself in the mirror.  It was then I decided I wanted to go out in public as my alter ego.  Going for a walk around the block at 11pm would no longer suffice.  This was a pivotal moment for me, as a crossdresser.  My confidence and persona began to blossom.  Also, I always liked the name Jen as it invokes a vision of a sassy and flirtatious woman for me, hence the name Jennifer Blossom.

How often do you dress?

I get all dolled up and go out in public once a month on average, sometimes more.  I particularly like the fall season as the temperatures are cooler and there are always fun events, especially around Halloween – my favorite holiday!  Despite going out 1 out of every 30 days, or so, the girly clothes take up more than 50% in my closet!  I am always shopping for the next girly item to add to my wardrobe, so I must not be too concerned.  I can always get rid of some more male clothes!  LOL!

Are you married/in a relationship? If yes, are you able to share your female self with your partner?

I am a lucky girl when it comes to relationships.  One evening, after dating for only a few months, my girlfriend playfully asked me to wear her panties!  Well, you can just imagine my delight as I wanted to wear not only her panties, but her bra, pantyhose, skirt and top and heels too!  That led to a conversation where I apprehensively shared my love for wearing women’s clothes.  To my delight she was cool with it!  In fact, she married me a few years later!  We would spend evenings as two girlfriends, sharing a bottle of wine and chatting for hours on the couch.  When she would go out with her girlfriends for the evening, she would leave instructions of what I was to wear, along with a list of chores, which I was delighted to do!  Our kids are older now so getting dressed at home is not an option.  Instead, I go to the salon for a makeover before going out.  My wife does not always see me in person, but she does see the pictures of my adventures afterwards.

What are some of your favorite outfits/fashions?

I love going out-and-about doing regular activities, but with a twist.  I like to dress in fantasy attire, which often means risqué outfits, for these activities.  To give you an idea, this could mean bodycon dresses, short hems, stilettos, and frilly skirts.   For example, I went to a tennis court wearing a mini skirt, bodysuit, pantyhose and 5-inch heels, complete with a tennis racket too!  It goes without saying that nobody could play tennis in 5-inch heels, at least without serious risk to an ankle.  On another occasion I went to a bowling alley wearing a sissy maid’s uniform.  I have worn figure skating uniforms to an ice rink on several occasions.  I have worn sexy outfits while playing mini golf, at the self-service car wash, at the gym, while fishing, at the driving range, and to the museum, just to name a few of my experiences.  I have dozens more excursion ideas on my to-do list.  I enjoy planning my fantasy outfits around an activity and documenting these outings with pictures.

Stockings or pantyhose?

Pantyhose please!  Pantyhose is what started me on this crossdressing journey many years ago!  If I could only wear one item it would be pantyhose.  I love the way they make my legs look, I love being encased in tight nylon, and I love the smooth silky feel of my pantyhose covered legs.  My favorites include Hanes Alive as they are thicker than most and durable.  Dance tights such as the Capezio brand are also great.  Wolford Neon 40 pantyhose are perfect for a special occasion.  I will wear stockings, but only if it fits the character I am trying to portray, such as a schoolgirl with white thigh-highs.

Heels or flats?

Despite being 6 feet tall I am a high-heel girl!  My heels range from 5-7 inches tall, so I have a nice view when shopping at the supermarket, cruising the mall or at the bar. LOL!  I often get approached by women impressed with my ability to walk in such high heels and I get compliments on my legs, which makes me feel so good!   I am considering buying a pair of flats, but only so I don’t ruin my pantyhose while driving as I don’t drive with my heels on.

Favorite places to go when dressed?

I just love to go just about anywhere when dressed!  I came out to a female co-worker a few years ago and since then she has met me out on several occasions, for coffee and for dinner.  Another friend of mine, also a female, spent a day with me recently.  As a crossdresser I feel vulnerable coming out to a friend or going out in public.  There is a risk of being recognized by somebody that knows me, a risk of being humiliated or ridiculed by somebody that reads me.  That is why outings with friends have a special meaning for me, as there is true acceptance of who I am.  So, for me, it’s not so much a question of where I go, as I can have fun anywhere, it’s about who I spend my time with.

Go to accessories for a night out

Women have so many options when it comes to accessorizing an outfit, and the choices can be overwhelming.  A typical night out may require decisions on heels, belt, hosiery, sunglasses, handbag, bracelets, necklaces, rings, hair accessories, and earrings.  I tried to thin out my options and get down to a small collection of go-to items, but I can’t!  As a woman you never know when you will need any given accessory, so I wind up keeping everything.  I now understand why my wife has the bigger closet, it’s because she needs it!

Who is/are your female role model(s) and why?

I am always looking for the next sexy outfit and trying to incorporate it into my outings.  I strive to be sexy and classy at the same time, but sometimes I miss the mark and sexy becomes slutty, leaving classy nowhere to be found!  LOL!  I find inspiration everywhere, from TV shows, movies, pop singers, social media, plays, and more.  I would love my work uniform, if only I had a sexy job such as a cheerleader, or a car show girl, or maybe a Hooters waitress or perhaps a Radio City Rockette!  A girl can dream!

Tell us some fun facts about yourself. What are your hobbies (either when dressed or not), likes, things you do in your spare time, or anything else you would like to share?

Oh, I am just the regular guy next door.  I especially love the outdoors, hiking and biking, spending time in nature or at the beach. Most of all I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids.  If you knew me as a guy you would probably never guess that I am Jennifer on the weekends!

Any stories you would like to share about yourself and your journey?

I am not sure why I cross-dress, and I stopped trying to figure it out years ago.  I don’t worry about the things I can’t change or can’t afford to change.  I like the way my persona has developed over the years, and I have fun while I am out.  I learned a thing or two from my earlier experiences, when I was not very confident.  I began to understand that people were not sure how to react to me, but they would take cues from my demeanor and my body language.  I realized that I could help the situation by being more approachable and outgoing, which is counterintuitive to how I wanted to be.  Since that time, when meeting people, I remind myself to smile.  I also try to initiate a conversation or ask for help, especially when in a retail environment.  Once people realize I am harmless it puts them at ease, which makes for a more pleasant experience for everyone.

If you have social media, what is the best way for others to follow you?

Before we go, would you like to send a message to your fellow girls out there or a closing statement.

Crossdressing is a journey, so enjoy every moment, even if you are not where you would like to be.  For too many years I was afraid to go out as Jennifer.  My advice to the girls that want to go out but are too afraid, is to find somebody, perhaps a close friend, or a makeup artist, or a transformation salon, that will do your makeup and help you pick out clothes.  Second, find an event and go out and have fun! You’ll wish you did it sooner!

Thanks Jennifer!  We look forward to seeing more from you in the future and what great outfits you will be wearing next!!
