Eye Candy of the Month: Jeanie J. Magick

Eye Candy of the Month: Jeanie J. Magick

As another amazing year of Eye Candy comes to a close, we knew we had to have someone special close out the year. Look no further than beautiful Los Angeles native Jeanie J. Magick! We met Jeanie a couple of years ago while doing a blog on Instagram girls who had caught our eye. Jeanie is also a veteran of our yearly contests and always submits gorgeous photos. Let’s say hi to Jeanie and get to know her a little better, shall we?

Hi Jeanie. We are so excited to end 2019 with you as our Eye Candy Girl of the Month. It’s been a long time coming. Let’s start by telling everyone where you are from?
The City of Angels! Here they’ll pay $2000 for a kiss and take your soul for 50 cents…I think lots of people move here to reinvent themselves but since I’m from here I find that I am reinventing myself constantly.

When did you first start dressing and how did it come about?
So, back in the days of dial-up, I used to download music with Limewire-one day I accidentally downloaded a hypnosis file…not only that but my best friend growing up was always into fashion and beauty and I was her test subject!

How did you come up with your Femme name?
It’s a mixture of my government name and my stage name – I also like to go with a magical theme and Jeanie, sounds like Genie.

How often do you dress?
It changes-depending on my work schedule and my emotional state-sometimes as frequently as every other day-the longest I’ve gone was 100 days in a row en femme-it was a good summer! Technically all of my “normie” clothes are from the girl’s section anyway – but right now I’ve been learning partner dancing and I haven’t dressed as much, maybe once a fortnight.

Are you married/in a relationship? If yes, are you able to share your female self with your partner?
I am currently single, but dating – everyone I’ve dated has always loved it! The girls love that their wardrobe instantly doubles! As for the boys… I’m not sure they can even tell the difference lol-I’m not even sure they know what a tree is.

What are some of your favorite outfits/fashions?
I love vintage style, gothic/edgy fashion, barbie pinks, and classy cocktail attire. Oh, and nerdy fashion-I’ve always wanted to work in a library with a cute bun, glasses, and a skirt suit – reading a book and greeting customers at the front desk…idk!

Stockings or pantyhose?
Definitely stockings for me — I love the full coverage!

Heels or flats?
Heels 100% at this point I’m pretty sure my Achilles have shortened – it feels weird to not wear heels – I wear heels pretty much daily regardless of if I’m presenting en femme or not.

Favorite places to go when dressed?
I love to go out dancing! I work as a professional dancer full time and it’s a great opportunity to practice following in partner dance – or to show off at the club…Besides that I love going shopping/thrifting while dressed-it makes me feel more comfortable trying everything on and having fun. Picnics at the gardens are fun too!

Go to accessories for a night out
A chic clutch bag is essential, a cute cardigan-it’s usually cold at the end of the night, and big hoop earrings!

Who is/are your female role model(s) and why?
Andreja Pejic is my favorite model, I followed her since the beginning of her career. I love all of the choices that she’s made and I look up to her. Lana Wachowski directed one of my favorite movies…Also for me, Frida Kahlo will always be a role model for being real, provocative, and passionate. The Future is Female!

Tell us some fun facts about yourself. Do you have any hobbies (either when dressed or not), likes, things you do in your spare time or anything else you would like to share about yourself?
I work as an acrobat/dancer full time so anything movement-related is very fun for me. Right now I’ve been training to perform salsa professionally and it’s been a blast! I’ve learned both the lead and follow roles. I also enjoy video games, acting, modeling, going out on cute dates and burlesque

Any stories you would like to share about yourself and your journey?
It took me a while to learn to be comfortable with myself but I’ve definitely come out as a much more whole and interesting person ++ I’ve had the opportunity to meet lots of great people, I’ve traveled the world, had great modeling opportunities – walking down the runway in 6-inch heels for Los Angeles Fashion Week would have left my thirteen-year-old self in tears~ I’m very grateful that I’ve made it this far, and I can’t wait to see what the future has next!

If you have social media, what is the best way for others to follow you?
The best way is Instagram, I have a burlesque account @ladyblaquemagick

Before we go, would you like to send a message to your fellow girls out there or give us a closing statement?
Just do it!! Be yourself!! Have fun!! Life is short – I’m reincarnating as a princess in my next life so I’m training for that. Build community! It takes a village to raise inner beauty! I love you all! Muah!

Thanks Jeanie! We can’t wait to see more great photos from you and follow more of your adventures on your Instagram page.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
