Let’s start by telling everyone where you are from?

Hi all. I am currently in the Chicagoland area and soon moving to Milwaukee.

When did you first start dressing and how did it come about?

First started as a teenager. When I left for college my parents moved my bedroom upstairs. My Mom stored a lot of her excess clothes, shoes, and lingerie in the closet near my new bedroom.  I became intrigued and started trying it on. Through the years I started buying and accumulating my own things and just dressed in private.  First, just lingerie. Then shoes. Then a wig and make-up. About 7 years ago I really caught the bug and began really trying to dress and look as feminine as I could with hopes of starting to go out in public. Now I have a nice wardrobe of lots of dresses, skirts, jeans, shorts, all types of lingerie, and shoes, shoes, and more shoes…..lol

How did you come up with your Femme name?

I just wanted to pick a name that sounded fun and contemporary so I picked Courtney.  And Jamieson just sort of flowed with that. Nothing complex. That was it.

How often do you dress?

I am usually dressed about 4-5 days a week and usually always on the weekends because I am usually always going out to a club or out on a date.

Are you married/in a relationship? If yes, are you able to share your female self with your partner?

Divorced about 8 years ago and had nothing to do with my desire to dress. My ex never knew about it. Now single and dating.

Tell us what goes into getting the perfect photo?

A really nice, sexy outfit that really makes me feel feminine. And then trying to have a really good make-up day and a good hair day. It also helps A LOT to have someone else taking the photos. I have a  cool photographer that likes to do photo sessions with me which is nice.

What are some of your favorite outfits/fashions?

I LOVE short skirts and short dresses. Bodycon dresses feel sooo good. I love to wear heels.  Usually I can do just about anything and stay up all night in 4″ heels. But I feel sexy in 6″ heels when the situation calls for it. When I am just out doing normal things I like to wear tight jeans with booties or shorts and cute sandals.

Stockings or pantyhose?

I wear pantyhose occasionally but it’s usually stockings and garters when I am going out. They make me feel so feminine and sexy.

Heels or flats?

Heels (4″-6″) when I am going out to a club or on a date. I’m only 5’8″ so I can usually blend in ok,  2″ booties or sandals when out doing normal stuff.

Favorite places to go when dressed?

I really enjoy going to clubs around the Chicagoland area. Lots of very accepting places in and around Chicago for dancing and fun. And I LOVE to go out on dates for dinner and whatever after. I just went to my first opera last winter dressed very elegantly in a little black dress.

Go to accessories for a night out

I like a small clutch purse with minimal cosmetics for touch-ups. And I LOVE bracelets. They make me feel feminine,.

Who is/are your female role model(s) and why?

I prefer CD and Tgirl role models. I first became comfortable going out in the mainstream by attending an event called the Detroit Invasion. The girls in that group were so supportive and made me feel sooo much more confident in my look and made me believe that I could adequately pass when I was out. The girls who have been “eye candy girls” in the past always give me inspiration. I always love reading their profiles and learning about their journeys and experiences. And there is a Tgirl whose website I stumbled upon when I began to get serious about dressing. Her name is Renee Reyes. I learned soooo much about dressing and what life is like as a CD or Tgirl and tips on how to do everything better. I still correspond with her with questions and advice. I try to do the same for others.

Tell us some fun facts about yourself. What are your hobbies (either when dressed or not), likes, things you do in your spare time, or anything else you would like to share?

As I said earlier, I just really enjoy going out as Courney whether it’s dancing or on a date or just shopping or going to a movie.  And I absolutely LOVE to travel. I do it whenever I have the chance. And I have just recently taken 3 trips on an airplane dressed as Courtney. Kinda nerve-wracking but was tons of fun.

Any stories you would like to share about yourself and your journey?

Like a lot of CDs and Tgirls, when I am Courtney I feel like I am living a whole different life. It changes my mood, It changes how I act and how I do things. It frees me from my other life and makes me happy. When I started on this journey I was content to dress in private. When I started to venture out I was sooooo scared and self-conscious. But going out in the world is now the time I enjoy life the most, It truly is the best time of my life.
