SEE SOME OF THE VERY LATE GLAMOUR GIRL ENTRANTS !!
See some of the very late entries we received for the 2013 Glamour Girl Picture Contest. Some shown here arrived with literally just hours to the deadline – a little bit like the Tax Return deadline in our local post office!! The contest closed at midnight on Friday, April 19th and so we have now stopped taking entries until next January.
Since the last newsletter we have received the most entrants for a 4 week period – as in past years almost 75% of entries are received in the first 4 weeks and the last 4 weeks of the contest. A big thanks-you to all the ladies for making such a big effort to look your fabulous best and for sharing your pictures with us. In recent weeks we have received more applicants for overseas including South America, France, Thailand and our very first from India.
The 2013 Contest is now officially closed and any entries sent to PicGB2013@Yahoo.com after the official closing date will be forwarded into the 2014 contest. For those of you that couldn’t make it in time this year we look forward to inviting your entry for next year’s contest. Just remember to save any good pictures that you feel may be good for your future entry – January will come around very fast and you don’t want to miss out again.
THREE CATEGORIES, LOTS MORE PRIZES !! This year we added another category so at the end of the judging in early May there will be 12 prize winners. Remember, the categories being judges this year are Super-Cougars (60 years and older), Cougars (40 years and older) andKittens (the Under 40’s). Each Category has Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Winners and we are also awarding an overall competition Grand Champion this year who will be the lucky recipient of a pair of Aphrodite Breast Forms worth over $500 as their chosen breast form selection in their wardrobe prize. Winners will be announced and shown in all their glory in May’s Newsletter.
Now begins the hard part, the judging. Our panel includes some of the most beautiful ladies you will ever see including 2 past winners and they come from both East Coast and West Coast. Our judges know what it takes to be a Glamour Girl though looking at this years entries they will have their work really cut out for them.
