Glamour Girl Picture Contest
Time is almost up! Glamour Boutiques annual Glamour Girl Picture Contest is about to come to a close. In a week, the submission process will end and the judging will begin. Are you still on the fence about entering? Well I say, “Let’s do this!” as it is now or never.One thing we here at Glamour Boutique would like to say to all our ladies out there – never feel like you shouldn’t enter the contest because you see girls that you feel have better photos than you. Our contest is about embracing our feminine side and showing off to our Facebook friends. Sure there are prizes and Winners, but this is all for fun and to give us a platform to celebrate ourselves, our fellow girls and our community.Now as I step off my soapbox, I’d like to share some more standouts from the last few weeks and help you out with some last minute tips on getting THE shot to put you in the Top 10.
The Super Cougars have upped their game
We love seeing our over 65 girls flaunting their stuff every year. This year is no exception. Take a look at DeeDee and Lily above. Showing us that age is just a number. And while we are on beautiful Super Cougars, let’s not forget the stunning Donna. Donna, DeeDee and Lily show off three different styles here – from elegant to playful to a little bit country gal in between. These are all great portrait style pictures. Great job girls!
Originality and Creativity Shine Through
During the second half of our entry process, we have received a few “outside the box” submissions that have had the Glamour Boutique crew ohhhh’ing and ahhh’ing over the originality of some girls. Two prime examples are Kittens Ebony Cox (above) and Jeanie Holiday (below) who stand out from the crowd with their look and photo styles.
Ebony’s Alt look is one we rarely see in the contest, but would love to see more of. Jeanie submitted three amazing photos that show her love of performing. What we like about photos like this, is that the girls give us a little peek into who they are personally. Be sure to check out all of Jeanie and Ebony’s entries this year as they really gave us some variety with their looks and imagery.
The Kittens Love Their Selfies
I’m not saying that the Kitten category is all selfies, but they seem to be the group that has it down best. Tina (above) is using her selfie stick to give us a full body shot. This is a great way to give us a full look at you from head to toe without using a mirror which can turn into a not so great photo if not done right. Also, sometime you don’t always have someone around to take some pics for you. The selfie stick is a great option. While Tina is killing it in her leather outfit,
Tiffany and K.M. are giving us some really beautiful close up selfies. Tiffany has been sending us selfies for our contest for the last couple of years and always knocks it out of the park as her pics are always some of our favorites. Meanwhile K.M. is giving us a little bit of attitude with her photo. Attitude = sexy!
Before we leave the Selfie subject, let’s take a look at Connie, showing us that Cougars have some selfie game too.

Welcome Back to Some of Our Favorite Contestants
Paige Andrews and Kim Rydick have been a part of our contests for quite a few years now and we always love seeing what they will submit each year. As usual, these ladies did not disappoint. We also love seeing some girls go that extra mile and get some great posed glamour shots. This is never a mandatory requirement, but if you have the time and the means to do so, we love seeing our ladies playing the role of glam model.
Get Outside and Snap Away!
If going the glamour photo, portrait or selfie route isn’t for you but you want to give your pics some flair, head outside and take a few shots with some nice scenery. One of our long time and favorite contestants, Brandi is looking as beautiful as ever, as she’s ready to go out for the day. Samantha looks stunning in her outfit and compliments it with some really great scenery around her. One thing I can suggest is – the more you put into these photos, the happier you will be when you look back on them.
What amazing photos. And this is just the tip of the iceberg as we have gotten some really amazing pics this year. Well ladies, this is it. The final countdown. If you haven’t entered yet, you only have a few days left. Get those photos in and don’t be left out. We love seeing these pics and we know you love sharing them.
