The 2021 Sexy Legs Photo Contest is NEARLY here!! Each Fall, we get so many amazing and sexy leg photos. During and after the contest, we often get asked about why someone’s photo didn’t make it to the Top 20 or beyond. The answer is simple. Our judges go through each photo and have a criteria that needs to be filled to have what they would consider a “contender.” We thought this year would be a great time to let our entrants into the mind of our judges and read some tips on how to win the Sexy Legs Contest.
The Best Tips when trying to Win a Sexy Legs Contest
The following pieces of advice are gathered from both past judges and past winners and successful entrants of the previous years contests. None of these tips need special techniques. You just need time and focus to come up with that all important picture.
It’s All About the Legs
What we feel is great for this contest as opposed to our Glamour Girl Contest is that you do not need to show your face. There are girls out there that would like to keep their faces private for various reasons. So with this contest you have no excuses but to enter. With that being said, since your legs are the star of the show, you should definitely take some extra care in featuring them in your photos. Let’s look at some examples of some of our judges favorite pics in recent contests like Alexa (above) to help you make the finals this year.
Take Clear, Well Taken Photos
The most important rule we can give, the #1 rule in fact that carries through all of our contests, is that your photo needs to be clear and well taken. We cannot tell you the amount of photos that we receive where we cannot make out legs, faces, etc. Make sure the lighting is good. Use a tripod if you do not have someone taking your photo. Sierra Romeo and Shannon were finalists last year and great examples of well taken photos. Bonus tip: Like these two examples, couches make for a great spot to shoot your legs since you can spread them out. Just ask Becky Valles (above).
Make Sure Your Legs Are the Stars of the Photo
Since this is the Sexy Legs Contest, your legs should be the star of the photo. Of course we want to see all of you, but make sure your legs are what draws our attention. Since we only need to see your kegs, this is also a great contest for those of you who would like to stay anonymous. In that situation, your legs should pop. Some examples of just leg shots that were top contenders over the last couple of years are Angelina and Chantel who placed third (2019) and second (2020) respectively.
Position Your Legs In Sexy Poses (Switch Things Up)
When taking your photos, make sure to position your legs in sexy poses. Your pose can go a long way in winning our judges favor. Also be sure to switch things up. You are allowed three entries, so make sure each one counts. A perfect example is last year’s Sexy Legs Champion, Lauren Michaels sent us these three photos that gave us a look at her hot legs from all different positions.
More Tips for Sexy Legs Photos
One suggestion we always tell our girls is that if you can get some photos taken by a professional, it is a great way to learn poses. Professional photographers can offer great advice on positioning and posing to give you the best shots. Bonus: your photos will look fantastic for entry. Some examples of this are Kim Rydick and Jeanie. Just a heads up: your photos do not get bonus points for being pro shot. Our judges know that it is not possible for everyone to do so, so do not consider that as a criteria. We suggest it for the help with posing and learning how to take great photos. Plus, in the end you will have a sexy photoshoot for yourself to look back on.
We also suggest accessorizing and making your legs pop. Put some tanner on those legs. Paint your toenails. Get a sexy pair of heels. Stockings or pantyhose go a long way, especially if you can’t shave your legs. Get a pair of opaque pantyhose to hide your hair. There’s so much you can do to really make those legs stand out.
All of these things can go a long way with our judges. The competition is stiff and gets tougher every year. The most important thing through it all is to have fun! That is what this is all about. Just by entering you have already won. So get out there and start snapping away on those SEXY LEGS!!
