GLAMOUR GIRL 2013 CONTEST WINNERS
What a year it has been for the Glamour Girl Contest. Our thanks to all entrants and to the judges who have done a great job given the really difficult task they again had this year. This is the first year to include the new Super-Cougars category . We were asked for this new category by many of the more mature ladies and as a result many more in this age group came out to enter and what a bevy of beuties we have seen !
As with previous years many entries were received in the last 2 weeks of the contest and again we were still receiveing some late entrants until recently. Whilst too late to be included in this year’s judging all pictures we received after the cut-off date will automatically be forwarded to the 2014 competition. Almost 50% of the total entries for this year were received in the last fourteen days of the contest.
We had a lot of feedback last year with regards opening up the contest to the third category of Super-Cougars (60 years and older) in addition to the existing Kittens (under 40 years) and Cougars (40 to 59 years). This year the breakdown of entrants was Kittens 20%, Cougars 47% and Super-Cougars 33% so next year we want to really push for more of the Kittens to enter. Judging has been fierce and whilst narrowing down from the original entries to the eventual Top 10 in each of the categories was difficult, picking the actual Top 3 in each category has been so hard and has taken the judges much time to figure out.
Congratulations to all the girls that made the Top 10’s – you are all gorgeous and it’s obvious from comments made on Facebook and in the NJ location by visitors that it is not easy to pick the Top 3 and get agreement from all. Even our judges have commented in each category how difficult the task has been as so many are of such a high standard including the photography.
Once again we have seen a ‘spike’ in overseas entries particulary from Australia and Canada but other multiple entries have come from Scandinavia, France, Germany, U.K., South Africa, Mexico, Spain and Brasil and even Singapore and India this year! Thank-you to all of you that took the time and effort to enter and please continue to spread the word so that the contest continues to grow.

KITTENS

COUGARS
The Top 40 Cougars was so difficult that the judges asked to narrow down to a Top 12 as they could not get it down to 10. Judges Top 3 and Grand Champion are:
Diane Grace was judged the winner and the overall Grand Champion. There were 4 ladies very close for the Top 3 and anyone could have placed first so well done ladies.
SUPER-COUGARS
The new category certainly brought a lot of ladies in to the competiton we have never seen before. Again, difficult task for the judges to separate the Top 10 but here are your Top 3:
