What girl doesn’t love nice plump lips with some lipstick to really make them shine? We love our lipsticks and with so many color choices, it could take a little time to find the shade that screams “This is my color!” You might prefer nude lipstick shades or bright and bold lip colors, but what does your choice of lipstick color say about you? Let’s see if we can guess your traits and personality by your favorite lipstick color.
Red Lipstick
Red means you want to say to people “look at me!” Sexual, sensual and bold, red lipstick is a go-to for many girls. Red lipstick girls are confident and usually stand out in a crowd. You’re an independent woman who knows what you want and has no problem going for it. Last but not least, a red lipstick girl is very vocal, so watch out!
Pink Lipstick
With two shades of pink, each will reveal its own traits. Hot pink is perfect for the girl with a mischievous side. You are energetic and vibrant. Hot pink is for outgoing girls who like to flirt and have a lot of fun. You also like to be the center of attention and are most at ease when everyone is all about you. Just as long as your girls can keep up with your high energy.
A light pink lipstick still gives off some of the feelings that hot pink does, but it’s way more subtle. A light pink girl is just that, feminine and girly. It lets people know that there is a sassy girl underneath but also tells them that you have a tender side too. Ambitious girls wear light pink as it compliments their self-worth.

A nude lipstick person likes to just hang in the background and blend in. They can be a little shy and more reserved. They’re someone who wants to be taken seriously and a person who once you know them shows you their warm and caring side.
Plum Lipstick
Watch out for the girl in plum lipstick. They are a handful. They’re very adventurous and like to take risks. Someone in plum lipstick is ambitious and loves challenges. While driven and independent, the plum girl has a unique sense of style and doesn’t mind standing out from the crowd.
Black Lipstick
For the goth girl in you. Add a little black nail polish and you are all set! The girl in black lipstick goes against the norm. You like to stay mysterious and don’t want to be approachable. “Pretty” isn’t in your vocabulary. Not that you’re not pretty, but that makes no difference to you.
Purple Lipstick
If you are someone who wears purple lipstick, you revel in your femininity. You’re confident, strong, and sexy. You’re an individual who can come off as a bit unapproachable.
Violet Lipstick
Purple’s cousin, violet lipstick girls are very loyal and someone who their friends look to for help or advice. Others confide in you because you’re calm and level-headed. Because of your calm nature, you are successful in your career. Just don’t take a violet lipstick girl for granted as her calm nature can go away when she needs to stick up for herself or someone she cares about.
Non-lipstick wearers
There are also girls out there who forgo lipstick for other options or no option at all. Let’s look at a couple of these.

A girl who chooses to not use any lipstick or may just be a lip balm girl, is a no-nonsense one. She is low maintenance and doesn’t like to be fussy. Her practicality in all walks of life is a common trait. She is also a leader. You don’t want to mess with this girl as she is someone you don’t want to get into it with. Watch out!
Lip Gloss
A lip gloss girl is a fun-loving girl. They prefer some shine over colors. Don’t take these girls too seriously as they don’t take themselves seriously either. You are always in for fun with a lip gloss girl.
No matter what color lipstick you wear, your personality is sure to shine through. Once you find a lip color or two that matches who you are, you will feel that much more confident in your look. Now line those lips and pucker up!
