It takes a lot of experience to be able to master the art of looking like a lady. These top five tells are the most common ‘tells’ that most crossdressers suffer from. Any experienced lady is going to make sure these five features are handled before stepping out of the house for a night out. We will help any crossdressers looking to step up their dressing game, and trust me mastering hiding these ‘tells’ will make such a difference in your experience!

TOP 5:

  1. Cheap Wigs
  2. Ugly Fingernails
  3. Cheap Jewelry
  4. Bad Tucking
  5. Hair Management

Cheap Wigs

Hair is important! Do not skimp on your wig. This is the main differentiation between man and woman styling; you need to have a killer wig. It is very easy to make this mistake, and people do notice when your hair is fake. However, wigs are very popular nowadays and there are so many great companies with quality wigs. You can check out our luxury wigs here. Of course, real human hair wigs are the best for managing, cleaning, and styling. But, there are many synthetic wigs that can do the job without breaking the bank!

Ugly Fingernails

Capitalize on feminizing your hands and nails. Managing cuticles, hangnails, and filing will keep you in the clear when interacting with people. People like, waiters, bartenders, or anyone that you are extending an arm to. They’re (hopefully) expecting a woman’s hand to appear in front of them, so make sure that happens. A little nail polish wouldn’t hurt, and you can easily remove after any night out. Stick-on nails for many CD’s are the answer as they are temporary, affordable and all trace is easily removed after use.

Making sure your hands are clean and moisturized is an easy way to feminize them as well. To top it off, add a few accessories (rings & bracelets).

Cheap Jewelry

Plastic, tarnished, or gaudy jewelry is very unpleasing to the eye. Woman, as a rule, select carefully to accessorize an outfit. Wearing some simple pieces will work the best. If unsure between silver and gold, silver is recommended when buying some pieces. If you take care of them, they won’t tarnish as long as you clean them (soap and water works) and they are so affordable! Try and gravitate towards simple pieces that won’t draw attention but, will still add some flair and luxury to your outfit! Make sure you choose bracelets, necklaces and stretch rings that will actually fit a crossdresser and remember to find a good supplier of the rare commodity, the clip-on earring.

Bad Tucking

This speaks for itself. If you can’t master the tuck, you should stay home. This is an obvious ‘tell’ and most people will notice especially if you’re wearing something tight fitting like a dress or skirt. Investing in some quality gaffs will do you so many favors in the future! They’re cheap and will help hide anything and everything. Hair Management

As a crossdresser some hair removal or hiding hair is essential. Removal from hands, feet, chest, and face is absolutely required for passing as a woman.

No hair should be on the palms of the hands or tops of fingers so shaving or waxing is required for passing. Obviously, if your lifestyle is a secret you need to approach hair removal with care or find other more temporary solutions like opaque, flesh-colored body stockings.

Even arm hair should be trimmed, some women keep their arm hair but, you need to keep in mind, that women do not grow nearly as much hair on their arms as the average man. So, keeping up with trimming is very beneficial especially if you’re wearing sleeveless clothing.

The same goes with open toe shoes, you must have all hair removed from your toes and tops of your feet in order to wear any open-toed shoes or sandals. Your chest must be clear of any hair in order to perfectly apply your breast forms! Breast form removal would be very painful without prepping your chest for hair removal. So, keep that in mind as well!

Making sure all hair on your face is covered or removed is key. Your face is usually always going to be in view of other people. Investing in quality beard cover will also be a great idea to keep away the pesky 5 o’clock shadow from peeking through if electrolysis etc is not a possibility.

Some girls don’t care about passing and are very comfortable with how they present. Others only ever dress indoors so never attempt to ‘pass’. But for the ladies out there who wish to go out and attempt at passing, we list these items to help you in your endeavors. If you need any more help please, email us at glambmarketing@gmail.com
